AvA/PvP for us East Coasters.

I would like to see some organized AvA scheduled on the calander for us East Coasters who can't make it to 11:00 pm PST AvA raid  times. 11pm PST is 2am EST and that isn't doable for me even on weekends. The 6pm PST (9pm EST) weekday events are not so bad but is really pushing it cause of needing to be up at a decent hour and decently rested for work the next day.

If we could get a decent idea of how many East Coast players interested in AvA we have (and that are interested in a regularly scheduled event) that would be awesome. I know on Raidcall I heard a few people voice this same concern. 

Is 9am PST good enough? Because Caytlin runs her event at that hours and it's very fun. Another thing to do is to get the Lorgair rank and start hosting your own events, it's very fun and a learning experience. Of course if you are shy like* me you might want to avoid the leadership spotlight...

I'm available for an event between 6PM and 9PM ET.   I'm in the middle of home renovations so I'm not generally online but if there's something on the calendar I'll show up.

9am PST would of course be during the work day for folks throughout the Nation. Something set in the afternoon maybe between 2-4pm PST would be much more workable for east coast folks who work and even central time zone too.

For myself, I'm in the central time zone, don't work anymore, and play during the daylight hours for the most part these days. Right now I've been spending lots of time learning the details of the game and moving a few alts through the starting levels but, as soon as I get up to speed and over level 10 I'll be looking to join in with as much family group adventure as I can.

East coast here. I am interested and available between 6-9pm PST (9pm-midnight EST).

I'm sure it's tough meeting the time schedules of majority of the users but I also can attest that the times for AvA are quite late for me on EST.

1400 PST (2:00PM) - 1900 PST (7:00PM) would be an ideal time frame for myself here on the east coast.

1700 EST (5:00PM) - 2200 EST (10:00PM) East Coast NA

I will probably be starting AvA runs in the evening for us EST time zone soon,  so watch for them, will probably be on Wednesday night to start.. most likely from 7:30pm or 8:00 est to about 11:00pm

and i'll try and send some shout out in guild chat for the unscheduled ones, I know a lot of ppl are sitting there just waiting for groups to form

CST myself.  Don't usually get online until 8PM or so during the week, so those EST times would work for me.

Once I get something to level 10 that is,lol.

I'm East Coast myself, but I like the 9pm EST starting time personally because by time I get the kids in bed it's about that time, heh.  Then I can at least get a couple hours in before I have to log off.  I might be able to start at 8pm EST if I got special permission from my wife, lol.  :)   

So the 8 or 9 to 11 timeframe for should work for me most days.

Yeah, what I was thinking was a start time of around 7pm-8pm EST. This would be after dinner and one could get in 2-3 hours of AvA before needing to get to sleep. Ideally I wouldn't want to be on past 10pm EST. AM of curse wouldn't work as that is work times.

Everyone's going to have some restrictions to their time of course but if we can find a middle ground that would be awesome. I love AvA I just don't want to have to choose between AvA and being a zombie at work.

I'm one of 3 coworkers who've joined the guild and we're all eastern time.  Would love to see something scheduled for east coast primetime as well.  

It appears we have a number of non-PST players who want to get in on some AvA and other group action. As we gain experience and rank, I think it's a good idea to think about scheduling some events ourselves.

have an event for tomorrow night for those interested, I set it at 9:00 est but I will probably be there before that...

Doreth, I'm signed up for your event tomorrow night. Thanks for doing it. The time works well, I'll be able to get a solid two hours in AvA in. Maybe three. I'm looking forward to it.

Yea I'm glad to see I'm not the only other person here who doesn't want to chose between "work zombie" or missing out on the awesome events planned.

Definitely agree that if we cannot get anything going officially for the EST late evenings, we should come together ourselves.

Once I get Vet rank 1 I'll be posting events from 6-9EST throughout the work week. ATM though I'm not running anything aside from my Saturday event.

Awesome Pookha. I seen your Saturday event, but I didn't have any of the items that you had asked to gather. Not sure where to even get them...

I'm east coast as well (just to the very south of the american continent), I can do it since 1pm to 8pm PST with my partner :3

tonight's event is a bit later then I would hope, but I'm alone with the kids tonight so wanted to make sure they were asleep before starting that's why I have it up at that time, normally I would try to get it going at least an hour sooner...  will try it like this for tonight and see how it works out :)

I'm east coast so I wouldn't mind something earlier in the day... even before work would be nice... but that said I'm not going to miss out on fog's events, the Tuesday one at 9est is perfect for me as I normally play right after work anyways, and the other one at 2am I don't really mind since I stay up gaming late on weekends anyways. still, I get how it could be a concern for some people and I am definitely for having some more AvA events no matter what time.

For me 9pm EST (6pm PST) is to late. That would leave me with about an hour to play AvA and that is not enough time. It usually takes about an hour to get everything settled to begin with. So in reality it would be 9:30-10:00 before things really got started and that isn't even including travel times etc...

As for the 2am weekend thing, I am usually winding down from drinking to much at that time with friends, so really I would never be able to make that. Let alone make it and keep my language safe for children. A drunken mouth is a rambling cuss laden mouth lol. "I forgot my words! Guess I will use some replacements! $##^, @%$!"

Hollah! Things vary, but 9PM-12M EST is usually the best time  for me. 

5-8PM Est is a great time for me.

I still have yet to travel into AvA :/

9 PM EST is a great start time for me. Gives me a couple of hours. 8 PM to a lesser extent as that's tight with dinner/kids/etc. Ideally there will be AvA every night (for those that work/school during the day) with a good mixture of start times.

I did last Sat evening with Pookha and it was great. It was my 1st full AvA run and I learned a lot and b) had a blast. I need more.

The thing slowing Pookha down is that he is running all around Tamriel trying to find the "Worm". 

For some reason he thinks the Worm from GW2 has followed him to ESO and has a grudge.  Seems Pookha didn't like him and continually interrupted his naps. It got so bad Pookha had a contract out on the worm so that others would harrass him when Pookha wasn't around. 

It was a pretty sad state of affairs.  Here was this poor worm who was simply vegetating who would be attacked by people he didn't even know. Now the shadow of the worm is haunting poor Pookha. 

Time will tell if they are able to make up and become friends.
