For fellow ESO crafting newbies

So I had this preconception that you need the proper racial motifs to make something for other races, meaning if my crafter is imperial, he makes a shield in imperial style, then my nord char cannot use it.

Turned out that was not correct and I was much relieved :D.  So the racial motifs are just for cosmetic styles then?

If you are new to ESO crafting, you might find this tidbit useful.

The motifs are pretty much for selling styles to other account holders (Imperial specifically) or eliminating the need to create a toon of a specific race if you like the style.  

Any race can wear any style of armor or weapon. The motifs are for appearance only.
