Regular Maintenance Day & Times - Tue + Fri at 5am PDT

Starting immediately, we have changed the regular maintenance times for The Elder Scrolls Online, based on player feedback. The game undergoes regular maintenance to provide you with the best service possible. We have scheduled the following windows for this purpose, although we may not need to use them every week:

North American Megaserver
Tuesdays at 8:00am EDT (12pm GMT)
Fridays at 8:00am EDT (12pm GMT)

European Megaserver
Tuesdays at 6:00am CEST (5:00am BST)
Fridays at 6:00am CEST (5:00am BST)

We will always message maintenances the day before, including a notification if the maintenance is not needed. Most regularly scheduled maintenance periods will last for no more than a few hours. During these times, we'll deploy patches, server optimizations, database updates, hardware upgrades, and perform other routines that keep ESO running smoothly.

I can understand Tuesdays. But Fridays too?! Sigh... Bad timing considering it is my peak hour.

Yes, sadly Oceanic tends to get hit in most MMO's that way. WoW's maintenance on Tuesdays beginning at 9pm/10pm Sydney time used to drive me nuts. Now both ESO and WoW share the same maintenance times on Tuesdays, so I can't pass the time out of ESO guildkicking inactive toons in WoW. I'm going to have to start doing laundry.

Twice a week?  Lame. 

Hopefully this is a short term plan so they can introduce patches and restarts in a more timely manner. 

The game just released, not to mention the launched content size is immense, so yea... twice a week is pretty much a necessity for now.  I expect it will reduce to once a week, then stretch out more once they get the Priority 1 bugs knocked out over the next few weeks.

well originally it was going to be wed/sunday and I was like who wants to work on Sunday!  ::chuckles::  Weekdays definitely better but always going to mess with those of us who can play at those times due to the international phenomenon of the internet.  =)  Then again I was going to log on quick this morning to change over some research on my crafting before going off to do some writing.

Lame. On the 2 days that I have to work, but not until 12:00 so I STILL lose out on gaming time.
