In one hour of testing these are some notes and things to do.
Prior to launch:
- Make notes of your builds. You will be resetting ALL your skill points.
- To be safe, make sure character inventory is not using any horse slots. Your horse will be hiding in your collectables and not active upon login to 1.6
- Don't ditch any old provisioning food - it all converts to new stuff or is labeled OLD whatever and worth MONEY!
- Get all three things you can feed a horse for maxed as much as possible. (I know I won't manage this but will try)
Things you will have to do at launch:
- Fill in all your skill points
- Assign a fast key to your champion points if you don't want to use the default of '='
- Play with your champion points
- Press U for collectibles - activate your horse - continue Training by feeding if not maxed on everything.
- Clean out all that OLD provisioning food for MONEY! I made over 18K doing that on my cook.
BTW, the HP and damage system is WAY different in 1.6 and guards hit like large trucks rolling you over. Going to go feedback that thieving and killing should be hold based, not WORLD based. I would expect if your notoriety went to a certain level in a hold other holds (cities) would know about you.
Anyway, this is my initial blurb on what to expect when first popping into 1.6 and what I suggest to make it not so insane. I'm an altaholic so I see a good deal of work setting my toons back up. Weeeeee.
EDITED: to update what the default key is for the Champion system. Seems I had a bug on day one with the thing that was working okay on day two.
