ESO Dungeon List

Greetings all.  In the server downtime I was trying to get a list of all the instanced dungeons in ESO, because other than the ones I stumble across in my exploration, I had no real idea what all the dungeons were called, what the level ranges were, and which zone they were in.     Being that I am rolling a tank and have to focus on the dungeon achievements to even rank up the Undaunted line of skills and abilities, learning this has been crucial if I want to get access to the acutual AOE taunt in the game.  

So because of my research, I thought I would share my findings with the guild and make a thread.   I will have to update the quest name information as well, but this should give everyone a quick handy guide for knowing which dungeons they should be looking to get groups for, what level ranges are appropriate, and of course, which zone they will have to go to find the dungeon.   Bear in mind, you can do the ones in the other two pacts, as those dungeons will show on your map and you can travel to them.   I will update with quest names as I come across them, or as people send me any updates.   

ESO instanced Dungeon List.

EB- Ebonheart dungeon,  AD is aldameri Dungeons, and DC is Daggerfall Covenant.  This is only relevant to their zones they are in.  

Level 15 (12-17 range)

   EB - Fungal Grotto,  Loc: Stone Falls,  Quest Name- 

   DC - Spindleclutch, Loc:   , Quest name - Deadly Whisper

   AD- The Banished Cells, Loc:  Auridon, Quest Name -

Level 20

Level 50+  Veteran Dungeons, These dungeons are not simply harder versions of the orginal versions, but more challenging dungeons that happen to share a similar layout to the regular ones.   The boss encounters are different than in normal, and these will  drop Veteran gear.   

    VR1-VR5, in order of difficulty. 

      -The Banished Cells

      -Spindlecluth

     -Fungal Grotto

    VR6-VR10, Order of difficulty not known at current time. 

     -Darkshade Caverns

     -Elden Hollows

     -Wayrest Sewers

Blessed Crucible is hands down the most fun I have had in any Raid or Dungeon content in many many years. 

Absolutely Kick ass dungeon. Yeah some of them have some bugs but I really do not care. The Dungeon play so far has been simply Gobsmacking :)

The VR dungeons are not just level 50 versions of the lower ones - while the layout of the dungeon is basically the same (some of them have extra areas you can only access in VR) the mobs and the fights are different - it's not just the same boss with more HP/damage and an extra ability, they are completely different.

The first 3 of them are Accessible at VR1 and drop VR5 loot, I'm not sure what VR the trash and bosses are in there but I think the bosses are VR5 and trash is VR3ish?  Basically you might want to take some time to gather some Vet Ranks and gear before you rush on right at VR1!

The order of difficulty for the VR1-5 ones is Banished Cells > Spindleclutch > Fungal Grotto.

The others (Darkshade Caverns, Elden Hollows, and Wayrest Sewers) become available at VR6 and drop VR10 loot.  I am not sure what the order of difficulty for those is.

thanks mystborn.  I scoured  my info from various placed, but as I stated I have not gotten their yet.   Any insights you have are much appreciated, and I will update this thread with the great wisdom you have provided.    Currently I am only lvl 30 as of this morning, so I was mostly looking into the dungeons so I had access to names so that way I can ask about them in Guild chat.   I am already missing one of the first set of dungeons due to missing a group for it, and I am missing one from the lvl 20s as well simply because I have not been online when others were going.    I figured since I had a hard time finding the information, that I would at least share with the Family so that they may have an easier time finding the information.  

That also means that as they add more veteran levels, they could also create more challenging versions of the remaining older dungeons at a future date, especially considering that the first expansion to the game planned is already expanding the levels with Veteran rankes 11 and 12.  

Right, I don't think it's a coincidence that the tier one dungeons were recreated as VR1-5 and tier two were recreated as VR6-10.  I think we'll see each tier being released as a new set of dungeons with increasing VR entrance requirements, difficulty and loot.

You can see the other faction's dungeons for a tier on your map by either completing your own faction's dungeon for that tier or by speaking with the Undaunted in that zone.  You can also just travel to player someone in the dungeon to get there so long as someone in the dungeon has it.

When you fast travel to a dungeon you appear by the wayshrine in the dungeon which in some of them is awkwardly placed.  For example in Tempest Island dungeon you need to clear back from the wayshrine to the regular entrance in order to get the quest for the dungeon.

I think all 16 of the dungeons are pretty awesome, very diverse environments, story, and mechanics.  The 3 VR dungeons I did were cool also but a pretty big step up in difficulty from the last regular dungeon so when you first go there expect to wipe =)
