When The Elder Scrolls Online was in its Pre-Launch phase, one of the aspects that Zenimax used as a major selling point was the ability to be Emperor. Once you've earned it you'd be among the few who have accomplished such a feat. When Zenimax designed this system, the concept of Emperor flipping probably never crossed their minds. Even if it did, the idea of all three factions letting it happen was mind boggling.

Wasn't going to say anything, but since you invited.  I disagree.

Eventually the "Former Emperor" issues are going to be taken care of and their powers will be balanced, so unless you have proof that they cheated, then they earned the title in accordance with the games rules.

Wonder what else we could reset, if we where going to reset all the mishaps occurring since launch.

I don't even have to make my case on this one, but I did anyway.  Want further proof?  If anyone in GSCH has engaged in this activity, and Fog finds out about it, you can guess what will happen next.

There are many things that are perfectly legal/legit, but is a offense that could get you removed from GSCH, so that proves nothing.

Resetting the "Former Emperors" solves nothing that won't be an issue in the future, they need to balance the powers granted from it instead.  

So while they where able gain the title annoyingly fast, the game allowed for it.  No cool downs.

Personally:: I would love the reset to happen. BUT, They need to fix the emperor line and reduce or get rid of the  special benefits first.

Fairness::: No some people earned it and most by far did not. BUT, Zeni knows it is their fault. was warned in beta of this exact thing. It is not fair to reset it.

Reality:: For them to fix major problems in their game. For the game to get people back interested in the general masses of pvpers. They NEED to reset it. It is that simple.

Nope No Reset you punish the ones that actually earned it. 

I'm sure the buffs help a little but former emps are just as easy to kill as anyone else. Though this is coming from someone who likes to swan dive off cliffs!!

Former Emp Buffs:

• For former Emperors, increases health, magicka and stamina regeneration while in combat by 2%
• For former Emperors, decreases ultimate costs by 5%
• Healing effectiveness For former Emperors by 1%
• For former Emperors, increases siege weapon damage by 2%

Guys let's drop this now before it turns argument.  They have some kinks to work out with the system but sweating changes aren't going to help anything either. They're avoiding the NGE patch in eso. If they just took it away that would have a similar reaction to SWO NGE patch. Results would be catastrophic and they would lose a lot of people.

The good news is new campaigns are a sort of reset. Nobody will he an emperror on day 1. Population will be high on all maps so it's going to be an all out war for that seat from here on out. No empty world to farm it.
