Elder Scrolls Online players who have shown a commitment to the game will soon receive a special loyalty reward, and others as time goes on, in recognition of their support of the game. In September, Loyalty Rewards players will receive a High Hrothgar Wraith vanity pet.

I like the idea. I'll be getting something fun and unexpected for doing what I would continue to do (pay the monthly sub) anyway :)

No clue on what the additional gifts will be, but really like this idea.
GW1 use to do something similar. Every time one of your tunes had a birthday they got a package in the mail. And inside was a pet. They had normal, rare, and legendary pets. This was a nice feature for the collectors.
A few subscription games give loyalty rewards, even those with a F2P option. Its usually a bit more than just a vanity pet and those games reward longer periods of loyalty more, but I figure its baby steps with this game, so I'll give them kudos for at least doing it.
