Didn't see anything around the forums on it. But I played with y'all in GW2 and ESO for awhile and was wondering if Gaiscioch was going to have a presence in Black Desert? Would much rather prefer to play with y'all then another group! Was planning on getting a conquerors pack to try out the first closed beta test here in another week or so if I don't get a key!!
It maybe a social adventure to start out with. Not sure if it will be a whole chapter. However you don't know if it grows anything can happen.
It wont pass the region free line item on our required items list. However we will have a social adventure and you never know. Chapters are reserved for places best suited for our communities goals. All others will be social adventures
Well that's exciting and new since my last visit here! Will there be a formal guild setup in the game to partake in PvP and other activities with? Or will it be more loosely structured than that?
We will have a gsch formed there to help people communicate with each other. But it will not be full strucutred like Gaiscioch.

The character creation looks awesome but most of the time when i see a game with a great character creation screen the rest of it seems to be lacking :P I'll wait for an unbiased review.
I'm hearing mixed reviews on it, but, one has to take different tastes, gaming backgrounds and expectations into consideration. Sadly, developers have learned to pull a smoke and mirrors trick with short duration Beta Weekends, so getting a preview isn't really enough time to form a reliable opinion anymore.
Ain't that the truth but will give it a go regardless with very cautious optimism! Regardless though I'll check back in here to see how to hook up with anyone giving it a go closer to betas and launch
It's actually quite good, mind I've been playing in the Russian version since it's beta and it will be a different game for NA. That said it has lots of good things going for it especially if you like crafting, open world bosses and PvP. Questing is pretty linier and it takes a bit to figure out how the skill trees work but I've been thoroughly enjoying myself. I only bought the basic edition because I'm throwing my lot in with Bless, but I think if we get a solid group going BD is going to be a blast.

I sure hope so! Do we have a group doing the first CBT or is nothing organized for that?
I have been playing a little bit, but no info on anything organized for it. Perhaps if more of us have keys in advance for the CBT2, we can organize something then.
We have a clan open but not a guild. Clans are limited to 15 people and require face to face inviting. Quite difficult to coordinate. We did a black desert event last Thursday that was organized and on the calendar. Thats when i got most everyone in.

Everything will be reset again tomorrow. Once we get to the non purging every time betas well make an effort to get the full guild open. Need 100,000 silver to open it. I made a total of 6000 during my playtime.
Yeah, i wasn't concerned or upset, at all. The little bit of time I got was all spent learning systems (and I still have not dealt with workers or housing yet). There is something of a learning curve, and not a great deal of guidance. YouTube may be your friend in that regard.
My thoughts so far: combat is fun, production and repairing could encourage alts. It needs some work, but has enough depth in the systems that it could be very worthwhile. I worry about ganking, but didn't experience any over the weekend.
its prolly not in my budget now but really would like to try it down the road.
Well, I didn't know they were gonna wipe, but I guess its a good thing they are. I still have a few tweaks to do on my toon creates, so it will be nice to get those in while re-making my toons for CBT2.
Looks like it's down already, but don't see a date for CBT2. I haven't even seen a tentative release date, tbh.
GM in the Channel chat last night said they would announce CBT2 after they had some time to look at the survey results from CBT1. I'm not expecting an announcement for at least 2 weeks. There is enough that needs to be worked on that I'm thinking a Q2 2016 release is most likely, but that is totally e speculating.
