Hello Everyone,
I was wanting to get a multiplayer game of Endless Legend or Endless Space started a couple times a week. Basically this would be a time where those who participate would get together via chat and we spend a hour or so playing our turns. I would host the game. If interested let me know and we can decide upon game settings.

I get so owned so much in Endless Space i didn't have the courage to buy Endless Legend :(
But if you need fodder, a warm body, an easy oponent, i'm in!

Great!! I will be on chat tonight and we can determine the settings.. And Kitty, if you want to try Endless Legend, Steam has a sale right now until the 4th where you can get the game and all the DLCs for like $20 i think.
Which one would every one prefer? Legend (which is fantasy based) or Space (Sci-Fi)
I got endless space on Steam for $5. It is fair as far as 4X games go. Biggest difference between this and other 4X games is the AI. I am used to blowing away computer players in other 4X games, but I am getting destroyed on normal difficulty. Let's hope the AI is as bad at space battles as it is good at colony management.
Anyone know any in-depth strategy guides? I've mastered the basics but need help on advanced strategy.
So do I have some players for Endless space?
Well, I don't own the Endless Legends saddly. I do read reviews that Legends actually has better AI and better overall gameplay than Space.
Ok. Then lets get some Endless Space going.. When is everyone available to get get on GV and decide on game settings?

Wow, the AI is absolutely, completely incompetent when it comes to space battles. I must have killed 500 enemy space ships without taking a single loss. I guess it is only fair that this AI can't build a spaceship to save it's life considering it is the most efficient colony micro-manager I have ever seen.
4X strategy games are probably the last genre of game I would think of as being better on multiplayer. Don't you go crazy with boredom while your opponents consider what to build next in their colony or figure out the best build possible for their new battleship? Spoiler alert: kinetic weapons are best. Missiles suck.
Do you have the disharmony xpac? Those have a tad different level of difficulty. On endless it's very challenging. Have to balance multiple defenses and weaponry.
Yeah I bought the whole shebang. It was like $1 more on steam. I can imagine the difficulty scales up quickly. If you don't have a decent fleet assembled at first contact, you are basically toast on normal difficulty, so higher difficulty levels must be brutal.
When I play again, it will probably be on slow speed. Normal speed forces you to basically pick a new tech every turn because they are cheap relative to how fast you can increase your science output. I play marathon on civilization for the same reason. On the "normal" speed, your troops are obsolete by the time you get them to the front.
