Things You Do In Video Games That'd Be Creepy If You Did Them In Real Life.
A friend of mine posted this on another site, and I thought I would steal her thunder here (I know, I am a bad, bad person). Anyway, I apologize if you've seen this before.

Just to be contrary:
walkthroughs - those are equivalent to how-tos and procedural docs and stuff. Use em all the time in home repairs, write them for people at work, etc.
ocarinas - I dunno about that one, I've played em all my life, still do, and so have sooooooooo many people around me. My collective family owns a bunch of decorative ocarinas (we have this blue wart hog looking one made out of what appears to be porcelain that has a particularly wonderful rich, mellow tone to it)
Try yelling, "I am Gaiscioch" in the middle of a sporting goods store as you wave your new hunting knife over your head.
Or on the 4th of July shout.... "Let loose the fires of hell!" as you shoot bottle rockets.
yes, people will look at you funny - unless they are your 14 year old grand sons - then they just laugh and say "Good one granny!"
I also have a decorative ocarina that has a Celtic knot on it - I got it some 15 years ago at a street fair in LA. But - then again - everyone that sees it asks "What is that?" so they might have a point...
lets see, just right off the top of my head break into complete strangers homes and rob them blind while they watch and don't seem to notice.
kill things that annoy me then strip them of possessions and sell them for a pittance.
Walk around carrying weapons in plain view (liberally coated with blood from point 2)
Jumping repeatedly on poles in order to finally reach the roof of something.
Break out into dance at random times.
Walk on someone's farmland and start killing their animals.
