Sorrow

Life is funny sometimes. I have been away from the family and GW2 since January due to school and working. Usually I would have enough time to pop in once every two to three weeks and squeak a quick hello before I was out the door again into the hustle and bustle of life. Then life goes and does a 180 on you and slaps you in the face. A death in the family, a precious sister forever lost. the numbness has settled over us and right now we are just drifting through the motions of things that need to be done. However there is one thing that has stayed on my mind through this sorrow today. Though I have not been active in the family for a while now, two members took the time to send their thoughts and prayers to me and my family today. Fog and Jessica, I thank you both from the bottom of my heart for your kind words and thoughts that you sent to me and my family today, you do not know how much they have meant to me. Thank you both so very very much.

I lost a dear friend almost a year ago now - it seems like yesterday.

A quote I heard at the time I wrote down since it meant so much to me then.

You will never be without her.  She will always have a place in your mind and your heart.  Keep her there and I hope you find peace and contentment.  She will always be with you - remember that and cherish it.

Please accept my condolences on the loss of your sister, Bel.  I lost a brother when I was very young but still have fond memories of the good times we had more than 40 years later.  I'm sure you and your sister shared similar times...embrace those memories and they'll be with you forever.

I too have lost a sibling, at quite a young age, over 10 years ago...still seems like yesterday.

So here are my super duper hugs for you and your family to help at least the pain to go away.

Sorry to hear you lost your sister. I'll be praying for and thinking of all of you. It does hurt to lose a family member, and that's normal. Give yourself the freedom to grieve. Enjoy the many good things she brought to everyone in her life, too.
