If you enjoy watching wild birds and seeing their nestlings, now is a great time of year.
Big Red (the female) and Ezra (the male), Red-tailed Hawks at Cornell University, are once again expecting. They have 3 eggs this year. Those are expected to hatch some time near the end of April. The nest cam is here: http://cams.allaboutbirds.org/channel/16/Red-tailed_Hawks/?utm_source=Cornell+Lab+eNews&utm_campaign=79696fb203-Bird+Cams+eNews-FallVisitors-10.19.2012&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_47588b5758-79696fb203-302304941
You can definitely see why they're called Red-tailed!
