I hate Video Game burn-out. Been playing my other games so often I'm burned out on them already. Only one game I'm not burned out on is one I thought I wouldn't go back too. World of Warcraft. I did keep up with it though and they are doing some amazing things in upgrading and improving. so I thought I'd give it a second chance. had to jump a few hoops to get my old authenticator removed and put in a new one and spend 15$ for a month of game play but if it keeps me from clawing at the walls or counting the bumps in the ceiling for the hundredth time.

I share your pain friend, and World of Warcraft is my go to game to rid me of that burn-out feeling as well. I'm excited with the news of the updates to the game with the upcoming expansion. I feel as thought the game is coming full circle but with a bit of a twist. I just hope they don't kill it with the "casual" flavoring they've sprinkled on the game over the last several years.

I made a tremendous mistake by boosting my warlock to 90 with the perk from the expansion pre-order and now I don't want to play the game (insert serious sad face) because I now feel lost having bypassed 30 levels. Gyah!

Thankfully I have Elder Scrolls to play now. I'll eventually go back and play WoW, but for now I'll be running around in circles in Stonefalls trying to figure out what the hell I'm doing here. =0þ

I get burnout fairly regularly too...  But since the release of ESO I'm still in the Honeymoon phase.  It's comforting that other have this issue as well.  It's a hard thing to explain to non-gamers.

I rotate quite a bit. I play one or two pretty heavy for a couple months then rotate to another couple games for a few months.  I like my circle, it keeps things fresh.

Game burnout is entirely normal, although if you put Circus Atari in front of me, I just might pick up a paddle again. :D
