My Aunt has been able to trace my Great Grandmothers side all the way back to Ireland in 1025CE/AD and my Great Grandfathers side back to Germany in the 1500's. My mothers side could only be traced as far back as the 17th Century somewhere near the border of Denmark and Germany.
My Great-grandmother was Dorothy May Nichols, her lineage was traced right back to the twenty-seventh great grandparents one of whom was Murchad Mac Diarmata O Cheinnselaig of the Leinsters. I can trace it back a little bit further than that since Murchad Mac Diarmata O Cheinnselaig was the son of Diarmait mac Máel na mBó who can be traced back as far as Crimthann mac Énnai (died 483), his father Énnae Cennsalach and his grandfather Bressal Bélach (died 436).

Edit: I updated my post with some extra research that went beyond the family genealogy documents I had.
"Diarmaid, son of Mael-na-mbo, King of Leinster, of the foreigners of Ath-cliath, and of Leath-Mogha-Nuadhat, was slain and beheaded in the battle of Odhbha, on Tuesday, the seventh of the Ides of February, the battle having been gained over him by Conchobhar O'Maeleachlainn, King of Meath. There were also slain many hundreds of the foreigners and Leinstermen, along with Diarmaid, in that battle. In it was killed Gillaphadraig O'Fearghaile, lord of the Fortuatha, &c. Of the death of Diarmaid was said:"
