Google +

Do many of you have Google+ accounts?
For those of you who do, what do you think about it?
There are a couple of groups I am interested in on Google+, but I hesitate to join a new Public Media outlet. So, I was hoping for a review. I trust the Gaiscioch collective opinion.  We have an intelligent, tech-savvy group.

I'm not a fan of it.  There are too many social media outlets now as it is and google+ is just superfluous, ugly and what I dislike the most about it, is that it correlates all of my google stuff into a single space.  Some people might like having their gmail, youtube, google stuff all neatly compiled but I really don't like having all my eggs in one basket.  I have no issue with having personal information on the internet, but I like diversified, with numerous alternate accounts for different interests (I keep my professional info and gaming info separate for example)

Not a fan of it and a lot of companies haven't adopted it as a social media outlet for them, either, so that should give you a little bit of insight into whether or not its worth it.  Try it if you want, though.

Thanks for responding. Your comments echo my gut feelings about it.  I do not like Google's push to drive all my internet connections onto one page.  I constantly fight the pop-up windows that insist I give them all my info to help better my experience.  I also feel like it might be superfluous in an internet full of social media outlets. 

I have only recently considered it because a writing group I am interested in uses it for group chats, or something to that effect.
