Thanks Rayko, this is a huge article and perfect timing. A great tribute.
have to say that pretty nice tribute... didn't get a chance to get to know oldroar, but every time I read a story about him I cant help but feel lucky to be part of the family he was in...
Very nice. I have to tell you it was GSCH's story about getting SOR that led me to join when GW2 came out. Its been great and unlike any other guild I've ever been a part of and thats a good thing 8)
Definitely awesome.
I still get teary eyed when I read about Roger - just can't help it.
One of the first ones I knew about was in SWG - one of the first 100 beta testers tragically lost his life just before launch and we held a memorial for him the last night of Beta - at a monument that the devs had placed in the game dedicated to his in game character. I cried that night also and I didn't even personally know him - but the sentiment is always so profound that what the community and devs do never ceases to pull at my heart strings when they take such actions.
