Multiple Combo Fields (Guardian)

Hello all!  Not sure if this is the exact right place for this, but I was sitting down with a character builder today to kind of plan out my Guardian with what little bit I know about the game so far (which is pretty much nil, so if it's laughably terrible please tell me why).  As I was setting up my skills and traits I came upon some questions I am hoping you all can help me answer:

First, here is a link to the build I set up:  Guardian Build    (No idea anything about armor sigils, so I just kinda winged it on that section with what looked best).

My first question is does anyone have a source of information that gives more details than the tooltips provided in game, such as actual durations for some of the skills (Like Symbol of Wrath on the Greatsword) or the actual specfics of changes made by traits, also mostly related to duration or specific potancy of boons that are granted.  I checked on the GW2 Wiki and most of them are just repeats of the tooltip without any extra details.

Secondly, does anyone have any idea what happens if you drop a combo finisher while standing in two or more combo fields?  From what I could see online, it looks like it applies only the first field touched, but when you are standing amonst two and drop a Blast finisher how does it pick which one?  The first one laid, the one with the longest remaining duration?  Couldn't find any hard details, if anyone knows specifics that would be great.    Edit:  Thinking about it, I could just try this myself when I get home from work today, duh!

I have found that I actually really like playing a scepter/focus midrange Guardian with massive closing potential and a huge frontload combo using the Greatsword.  I figure using this set-up I can build up significant stacks of Might on myself and Vulnerability + Burning on the target with some retaliation even thrown in for spice, and then unload a very huge chain of damage including 3 combo finishers all in a short amount of time while simultaneously keeping the foe mostly blinded or blocked.  With traits that increase damage to an enemy who is burning AND under conditions, I feel like this leads to the potential for some pretty high burst output with the added potential of some target control as well as group support.

Granted I think this is probably built largely around world explore, as I have NO idea what end-game or WvW is like (would need to throw in a teleport at least for maneuverability, i'd say), but I feel like it wouldn't be too hard to adjust a bit to adapt to those situations, seeing as I would probably at least shift my utilities depending on what I am doing anyway.

Anyway, mostly I was just curious if anyone had some information on those couple of questions or where I might look for more details, and feel free to smack me down if I am on the totally wrong path here with a build like this.  It was just interesting to me after looking at some guides that no one seemed to mention this combination, and since I enjoyed playing this style I figured I would give it a shot.  Thanks!

/end rant

As far as builds go most are pretty viable if you run them with the right gear. Personally I'd swap your virtues trait since your only running a single consecration, the duration and recharge isn't overly worth it you could run trait for dps, or retaliation trait instead and still get your virtue bonus. As far as info goes the wiki.guildwar2.com (offical wiki) is very good and usually up to date with the newest builds, also has current skill/trait bugs. For combos a finisher only interacts with the last laid field, so if you lay a fire field and a water field on top, the water field is what you'll interact with for finishers. Combo info here http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Combo Hope that helps :)
