Hey all,
So, the schedule I had for this round of map clears is coming to a close on 4/13. I want to continue doing two events every week, but make some changes. Please check out and answer a survey that I've made in order to help me plan out my future events. :) I'm definitely looking for input from people that already attend my events, as well as anyone else that is interested in attending PvE events. Thanks for your help!

I love the map clear events. After clearing the same map 3-5 times, it gets a bit boring to do it again. Having a group of 3+ makes exploring much more enjoyable, and interesting.
For maps, I recommend putting priority in Orr zones because they tend to be difficult to explore alone (relatively high mob density and difficulty compared to other maps, champions guarding skill points, events everywhere). Having a group would make Orr exploration, I think, would be enjoyable especially since we can complete all the dynamics events and gather high level materials. Unfortunately, I think it would take a long time to explore even 1 Orr map - my attention span for any game doesn't last much longer than 1.5 hours.
For times, I am more likely to attend the Sat/Sun 9 AM server time slots as long as I didn't have any plans for the day. Since I am in the eastern time zone and like to keep an early/consistent sleep schedule, I seldom play GW2 beyond 6 PM server time.
I forgot to mention this in the survey. For your second event, I recommend running Temple of Balthazar and/or Temple of Grenth. Observing the events on GSCH and SoR in the past 3 weeks, I've noticed that there hasn't been one similar. I think doing Temple of Balthazar would be a great service to the community as it gives them access to Obsidian Shards and I don't think players run it often. With Temple of Grenth, I never know what I'm doing there so an event lecture of some type would be good too.
The final decision is entirely up to you of course. I love what you're doing.

What we do is not so important as doing something. I love your events because they offer the opportunity to join with old friends and to make new ones. Keep up the good work Kendra and I'll try to make as many of your events as possible.

We could also maybe try and do all the Explorer achievements. Shiverpeak explorer for example which I have 174/175 at the moment.

Thanks to everyone who responded. :) I got 27 responses altogether.
Now, for the Map Clear. No one wanted the 1-15 areas, and only one person wanted the 15-25, so we'll leave those out.
For the 25-35/40 or 30-40 areas - we only got 3 or 4 interested. Despite that, I decided to go ahead and do those areas because it should be enough to at least get one group of five together. Plus, this will be more helpful for our newer members who do not yet have characters at the higher levels.
Of course, then for the higher levels, there was a lot of interest - 26/27 wanted the Cursed Shore map, 23 wanted Malchor's Leap & Straits of Devastation, 20 wanted Southsun, and so on. I copied the total responses at the bottom, if you're curious. This means that we'll start with the 25-35/40 maps and clear our way up to the level 80 maps.
Now, for timing. The three date/times I provided as options were all pretty close in preference, but people did prefer Sunday morning for the map clears going forward. That is my preference, as well. So the map clears, from levels 25 to 80, will be done Sunday Mornings at 9am server time.
For the second event, the date/times were similarly close, with the highest preference for Saturday nights, 5pm server. Since this also works out best in my schedule, we'll do the second event Saturday nights.
As for what the second event will be, most people preferred farming (16), some wanted to switch between farming and living story (12) and a few wanted Living Story (5). I also got a couple suggestions for doing traits when that comes up. What I've decided is that it'll primarily be a farming event (and that will include some of the Temples on the days we do the Orr areas), but I'll keep it flexible. Where it makes sense to do a living story event, or do some Trait hunting when it comes out, we'll do that. Or even a mix of multiple things in one event. I'll change the event description as appropriate.
I've updated the Sunday morning map clear to reflect the extended schedule, and have added a new Saturday night event starting on 4/19. We'll start with some Orr material/Temple farming in Straits of Devastation.
Rafi/KiwiKans - for the explorer achievement, I think it would be hard for a group to hunt down random places that people have missed for their explorer achievements. But I do think I will consider doing some of those mini-dungeons as part of one of the farming events. Those are often areas that people are missing for their explorer achievement. Thanks for the suggestion.
