Starting new weekly raids

I'm planning on leading 1 or 2 raids a week, 10 mans. I don't want to step on the feet of those that already are running them, so I wanted to post and see if anybody had suggestions about the best day for me to do it - mon, tue, thurs, or sunday.

It'd most likely start with being full clear of DH and GP, then the other be a clear of rotp. Possibly if a group was steady and could manage it, full clear of DH, GP, Rotp same day. I haven't done rotp yet so I need to go on a few runs for that first :)

My only days off in that range are Sun/Mon. But.. which side are you wanting to run it on? I play on D side and cleared DH and most of the way through GP

I would suggest looking at the weekly or events calendar. All of the pre-organized groups are listed there so you will know what day/time would be best. Then you can schedule your event using the calendar itself also, so other groups are aware of your run. If an event isn't listed on the calendar, don't worry about stepping on that group's toes; how can they expect us to know when they are running?

that seems like sunday, monday and tuesdays are the best days. This is a schedule of the big things I've seen. Wed: Bentmer HK 6 pm Rylocke's DH/GP 8 pm thurs: Rylocke's RoS 5 pm fri: guild events by foghladha and others sat: Hosfi DH/GP 4 pm Tashwen GSB 8:30 pm sunday:Hosfi GSB 4 pm Bentmer HK 5 pm monday:guild event by foghlada tue: nothing Foghlada, would you prefer I not run something on mondays so that there won't be conflicts to guild events? Depending on what you'd like, I'll choose between one of those 3 days. My preference would be sunday or monday at this point.

So...feels a little awkward giving my opinion on this because I have not played for months. So don't give this much weight. One of the reasons I left Rift was because as a fresh 50 it appeared like I would be on raiding wait list forever. I think the guild has enough people to support any number of raids on any given night. I could be wrong. I'm only here now because I've been thinking of coming back, swtor isn't quite doing it for me, and I would love any new entry level raids to pop up on the schedule.

Thank you for stepping up Flarewind. We've got a lot of people wanting runs through these dungeons. I've been working on the battlegroup system which will help you greatly in planning these. I hope to have it done soon. Thanks again for running these Flarewind.

Ok, since I won't be able to use vent (or at least speak well on it), I'm going to do one of 2 things. 1. have my wife prerecord a voice summarization of the events I will run, I just run the sound file, and the raid gets it in vent. 2. type up summarizations for the encounters in notepad with the appropriate # of characters separation, so I can easily copy and paste in for each event. I haven't decided which, I'd prefer to do the 2nd, but I know some people are better at listening comprehension than reading comprehension and vice versa. gonna start with 1 night and see from there where it goes.
