By popular demand the Gaiscioch Family will be hosting a once per month Saturday morning Chivalry Brawl for good times and fun laughs. This game is an over the top Medieval simulator with castle sieges and epic fun. We'll be going up against bots so you have the ability to learn. These 2 hour events will be hosted in GameVox and be entirely for a fun time on Saturday mornings. You must have a copy of the game in steam to join. Make sure to add: Foghladha to your steam friends list.

Need some people willing to use shields and learn to form shield walls. :) This is gonna be SO fun :D

No, serious, I enjoy sword and board so that's just fine by me.

People don't last long as a shield lol. They tend to lose their head.

Details... details... lol the blood from their severed head wound ends up flying in the enemies eyes, blinding them and rendering them directionally challenged. As they start waving weapons at each other blindly, their own guts and blood start spilling.  Their bodies laying on the ground, slowly creating the largest human sea you have ever seen! 

All that because of human shields... see??? see???

Although, if there is space for more archers, I do like shooting arrows at peoples better lol.

Either way is fine, as there will be bloooooooodddd!

I would be down to play!!! I already own this game. 

(Also I don't mind using shields) 

I'm going to turbo poke my partner and see if he wants to help since he already owns the game and I already hid the credit card before we have to eat only rice for months :3

Thanks Pookha.  TBH, trying to purchase with G2A wasn't that smooth and I almost backed out of it, but since you linked it, I figured it was a trustworthy site, just a little glitchy.

It looks like it made it to my Steam Library with no issues, its downloading now, so I guess its all g2g.

Ya When I was first referred to G2A I sketchometer was off the charts, but since they took paypal I was ok with making a purchase.  I now get games from them regularly. I'm sure that I'm helping to support the KGB, but with deals like this!

Funny, I tried Paypal, but it refused the transaction, so my "sketchometer" went off the charts at that point.  Also registering wasn't very smooth for me, something was getting mixed up with the emails and passwords they auto-assigned.  Then there's the "G2A Shield guarantee" in case a seller is fraudulent...

Anyway, Fog... I guess mark me down for whatever a Knight does and keep me in the loop of whenever you want to practice and stuff.

Don't own this one, and with no free trial and $25 I am unlikely to jump in.
That said, I do like the genre somewhat (huge fan of the Mount and Blade games by Taleworlds, and so far of Life is Feudal, both of which are similar in combat at least) and would potentially consider it at a reduced price.

Cool, I got in some practice today (83 kills against bots, 2 deaths while learning the controls a little.)  I think I may need to let the bots have a team, instead of free for all, next time.  I can archer or melee just fine so far... may try practicing hitting harder moving targets some more (as that's the one area that it is still somewhat tough with FFA.)

Yeah, Fog, sounds like a plan for group practice.

I bought the game today.  It's currently "installing" while I am at work. I'll give it a try when I get home. Is there anything special about the shield wall job or is it mostly people who stand in a row guarding with shields?

Wow! 5 bucks is a steal, been meaning to try this game too.

Archer sounds like something I'd pick, the up-close combat looks super disorienting... i really wish this was also in 3rd-person, 1st person view-points tend to give me headaches.

Think this is going to become a monthly saturday romp just for fun lol. This was too much fun at practice lol

Yeah, the melee is a little disorienting, but not bad unless the game lags.
We had a few matches where it did, and we tended to have a lot of wild air swings and enemies warping up and murdering us without giving us a chance to fight back in those matches.
That said, we also tended to get involved in a meat grinder with people chopping team members up (the calls on coms of 'Hey!' were regular and awesome!)

Melee is really learning how and when to use the attacks and blocks, and without the lag it isn't too bad (the two horizontal chops are great when you are alone, but will hit teammates.  The thrust and downward chop are better for working in groups, generally.)

We'll get there early all join a game with no bots, get on the right team. Thrn ill call for an all quiet on deck. Will need everyone to stop making noise for intro. Ill introduce then open up with our crew looking  all awesome and well add the bots and go yo war.

Just bought this game, and hope to try it out soon. Get to see how well this works on my piece of junk computer. Would be interesting to play this with you guys.

Can't work on updating those guild halls every night for the foreseeable future, or you'll turn into Grumpy Fog.  Then you'll have to join Grumpy Sek and we'll end up sitting around grumpgrumpgrumping.
