Akiran Posted a Battle Recap: Building the right foundation
The secret to building a proper tower is making sure you have the right foundation. The secret to building the right foundation is material and proper orientation with the terrain. Spent a lot of time placing and replacing the foundation of my tower, which finally feels right. Will be spending a lot more time harvesting the materials to see the rise of my tower.

Trithian Posted a Battle Recap: New Tames & Exploration
Got some new tames, bred a lot of dinos, got Akiram two tek rexes to raise and play with. Explored the Northeast corner of the map. Many hours of resource gathering.

Akiran Posted a Battle Recap: Leeches, a new bird and a Tek Rex!
Another fun time of exploring, farming, breeding, and hunting. My bird being in that great nest in the sky, took my raft for some sailing. Spent some time in the swamp to find some much needed leeches, since our farming of them did not seem to be bearing any fruit, to find that it just takes a relatively long time for them to grow. We captured and raised a batch of new birds, which were almost all female, and eventually found me a replacement for my lost mount. On my maiden voyage with my trusty new bird, spied a max level Tek Rek on the side of a mountain and called Trithian over to capture it, which he did with great skill and single handed with me simply giving a little air support...

Akiran Posted a Battle Recap: Die and Learn!
A fun full day of exploring, building and breeding dinos on Ragnarok. Unfortunately, learned a few lessons the hard way. It is not a good thing to be swimming in the water when your connection is lost ... blurp, blurp, blurp, lol. Do not let a newly imprinted baby dino follow you when you are farming for meat, they tend to jump in front of your weapon, which is not so friendly when friendly fire is enabled on the server. Took a ride on my trusty bird to mourn the lost of the baby and it ends up in front of my sword as well when attacked picking up a loot chest...

Mewzical Posted a Battle Recap: Having Fun Doing World Completion
After slugging it out all week soloing the storyline episodes of Living World Season 3 with its seemingly endless massive mob encounters, it was truly refreshing to participate in yet another Saturday morning adventure with Gma. Her lighthearted and seemingly "disorganized" approach to opening up map zones is actually a lovely way to spend a morning. We all look forward to what has affectionately become known as the "Gaischioch Direction" when she says "Left" but really means "Right". She designs her runs for new players and provides a ton of information and instructions for just about any portion of the game...

Atram Posted a Battle Recap: The way you shouldn't do things
Today was the perfect example, especially at the beginning, how not to play a Rebel Camp fight :) We all know that normally you can do the fight and not lose any units. I had 5 terrible call in one fight which led to kill my entire Shieldmaidens squad. I could swarm them in a javelin throw, in my defence they just popped up, then died... I know I know at this point this is not a news. Either way, once we switched to Fief Raids, we thrived! I mean I still died, but at least we won :D So in a nutshell, if you need a good friend on your side who occasionally (always) die, but at least trying, you know "who you gonna call...

Reese Posted a Battle Recap: Introductions and Dust Ups
There I was, on a lonely quest to make the world a better place. I was surrounded by others fighting to save Tyria, but they were strangers. Then a commander added me to his squad and I was no longer alone among strangers. After the last boss fell, the commander invited us to join his House. I believe he even said it was sent out in error. Still, being one who doesn't squander opportunities, I observed this great House. They are a people of honor and service, so I requested formal membership and was accepted...

Aynar Posted a Battle Recap: Isn't Rackham a Carribbean Pirate?
We took a trip to the roof of the galaxy using the only method that exists - a fleet carrier. We were not cool enough to hitchhike our way up there, even though it seems possible. (There is a well beaten tourist path with scattered fleet carriers along the way). Each jump offered opportunities to scan star systems and watch our "home" milky way galaxy move further away while "other" galaxies, nebulas, and black holes become easier to view. Finally, we made it to the final outpost accessible to humans...

Caludon Posted a Battle Recap: A bittersweet night of Undaunted romps
It was a bittersweet night of Undaunted questing as Beliar took up the mantle of group leadership for the final time before his sabbatical. With words of wisdom and an efficiency of leading, he took the band of GSCH members through nearly a score of missions proposed by Bogrul from the Guild. All tasks were handled expediently and much loot was reaped as a result. At the end of the evening, rounds were had and well-wishes for the honored leader on his new adventure.

Riotus Posted a Battle Recap: Valheim hijinks
An intrepid group of professional warriors and a newb set out to find adventure (and each other) in the world of Valheim. Days are spent searching for friends, nights are spent huddled in fear; an ocean voyage almost ends in disaster and the end of a troll is lit on fire. Finally, the party arrives at Kitty's lake house only for Fog to leap to his doom.

Atram Posted a Battle Recap: Rebels at the horizon
Today we heard the bad news, rebel camps raised around our loved cities. Thanks to some brave soldiers the threat is disappeared quickly. Even sometimes they had to go back to our loved cities to heal or because someone (who we don't name) forgot to bring in the loud and crazy berserkers to the fight. But after the hiccups, they all went in, without fear or in one case actually without arrows. Either way, they WON and that's the only thing meter. We learned a few thing tonight: - don't press "5" if you have ranged units - don't say something is not spawning on easy level, because for sure it will! - 1111 is not "F" and not "25"...

Kitty Posted a Battle Recap: Fire! Fire! Fire!
We were there, once again, trying to save the moon and have a fun run. But Kitty had other plans. Kitty wanted to try Sargon, the traitor. It went well. If we ignore the fact that we wiped in the first map. You see, Sargon's attacks and powers have friendly fire, it affects everyone, Kitty, Gma, Sscripko, the enemies, everyone dies at the fire. By the second map we were more aware on how deadly those attacks and how much the health goes apoof between that and the enemies. We grew in confidence, we danced and moved and attacked like one entity...

Berga Posted a Battle Recap: Non nobis, sed omnibus!
Something strange happened. On a whim I asked two passing ducks what those Monastic Knights were mumbling under their breath. They said it's Latin and means “Not for us, but for all!” I asked them how they knew, and they said they didn't, they were just a search engine. As if that was an answer. I was about to tell them this when I realized that this line of inquiry was going nowhere. We had roasted duck with red wine sauce that evening. This was still a very unsettling experience I don't quite know how to handle...
