Things Can Really Change In A Year.

By: TernieLaBiscuit

I took a break from ESO, mainly because I have 3 very busy teenagers. In hindsight, I think I was burned out, and others were, too. Being burned out and playing with other burned out players just makes one want to give it up. So, I did. And wow, things have really changed in the game since I took that break!

It's a good thing! So many things have changed that it's almost like a completely different game. And it's always good to run into old friends, and make new ones. I'm ready for a break from life, so it's time to dive deep into the game I loved for 3 years, and give it some love again.

Family side, I have 2 seniors in high school, and a junior. They were all in Marching Band this year; my oldest daughter was drum major, my son plays trumpet and my youngest daughter did color guard. My oldest daughter was accepted into her first choice college, and will be majoring in Music Education next fall. My son (her twin) is working at school in a computer science block, and wants to try community college in the fall. My oldest daughter now conducts concert orchestra, sometimes teaches class, and has been learning how to transpose music for different parts in the orchestra. When we had the college visit, she met with the two music directors (band and strings) and they were thoroughly impressed with her abilities. My son needs extra help with his college work, so he will most likely be taking a few online classes, and some hands on computer classes at the local community college. My youngest is still in orchestra, is on the varsity girls swim team, and isn't sure what she wants to do as far as college goes.
