I joined the Hopesfire campaign for the first time last night and had a great time. (Doreth did a great job of leading and all in raidcall were helpful and patient!)
I bought 5 soul gems and put soul trap on my action bar. I tried at times to exclusively use soul trap to ensure I filled some gems; but after 3 hours, not a gem filled. Some others had this problem as well.
Is this a bug? I'm pretty sure I was getting hits on the mob (doesn't take long in our group to down a mob! LOL) and like I said, I pretty much spammed soul trap. Don't know if I should arrive early and try killing some critters/mobs before joining the next event.
I really wanted to help my downed comrads. Any advice?
