Appeal the decision thru the eso website, give fog the ticket number. Sometimes he can help.

Not that it helps you right now. Then looking at the forum, a lot of people have been banned from the game bugging out.
I hope that they resolve this very fast.
Yeah..I've noticed the thread explosion on their forums.
A lot of the reports of unearned bans, the folks are also reporting they had the bank slot loss and multiple pre-order items mails bugs.
I hope it gets resolved quickly as well. As many complaints on the forums in the last hour, if Zenimax doesn't stop biting the hands that feed them, they are going to find their plates empty.
I just got banned myself about an hour ago. I was gone all day till around 4:30pm - downloaded the patch, logged in to play, spent about 45 mins playing and suddenly I got booted from the game. I received a message that stated something to the effect "this account is logged in somewhere else"
I immediately thought to myself "oh $@#$ someone hacked my account". So I try to log back in to find my credentials don't work. I'm starting to panic at this point. Next thing I try to do is login to my ESO account on their webpage so I can change my password (still thinking I got hacked) to find out my account is "suspended"!? WTH!? What I find most infuriating about this is how they lock you out of your account on their website so you can't manage your billing / subscriptions or post on their forum! After some googling I'm finding this issue is rampant! I've submitted several tickets already and requested telephone calls backs. What makes me all the more angry is the fact I just purchased 6 months worth of subscription! DOH!
I just got banned, too. No reason given. To the best of my knowledge, I didn't do anything deserving a ban. In fact, I've been going out of my way to report bots and gold sellers.

Yep, I got suspended too. I didn't even know there was an Item Dupe Bug until I saw the patch notes. I have no clue why they think I did it.

They are probably being a bit over-zealous with respect to banning people they think are involved in the bugs... just be patient, contact customer service, and don't lose your cool.
I just got home. Same issue. it says my account is suspended. here is the ticket number 140418-086015.
All we can say is to appeal these bans and give out a warning to everyone.
Whatever you do - do not go AFK inside a dungeon. There are people reporting any character that stands still by a boss mob spawn location for any length of time since there are so many actual bots in these dungeons at the moment and the system may even have started tracking players in the dungeons and how long they spend in there at one spot - although I can't be sure of this - it is one possible scenario.

They're shutting the help portal down because they're getting flooded with people like us all in the same boat.
I'm extremely frustrated, upset, and disappointed in Zenimax and their extreme lack of customer support. I submitted various tickets - received ticket numbers - however never received a confirmation email that a ticket was created / generated.
After you submit your ticket I would respond to their prefab email to appeal right away. When I went through this same situation I changed my subject line to say Ban Appeal with the ticket number and responded to every email they sent.
I'm really sorry to hear that this has happened to more family. It is a very terrible thing to go through having invested so much into the game and your character. Hope it gets fixed soon. - M.
I don't like to complain too much, but dang. I still have not received any sort of response from ZOS. Very frustrating indeed.
*EDIT* So out of curiosity I just tried to log in for the heck of it and guess what.. It's been fixed. I am happy with that, but why absolutely ZERO communication from ZOS is beyond me.
Update - Never received an email but I tried logging into my account via their webpage just now and IT WORKS. Whereas before I was getting a "suspended" message.
I have not tried logging into the game client yet but I'm fairly confident this may be resolved. Gesh what a scare.

So sorry about your troubles. I know I would be nutz if I was unfairly banned. I was very happy to hear you were cleared and able to get back into the game!!!
I think they have a fabulous game with so much going for it; but there are a lot of humps to get over. Besides trying to make things work on a megaserver and for different platforms (console and PC); they are also new to MMOs and how to deal with an MMO gamer's expectations and the problems that come with MMOs such as hacks, spammers, bots, etc. People are having to adapt to a lot of changes and this isn't made easy because of the many problems.
