I was one of the unfortunates who lost my bank space last week. I had not heard anything from them the last few days so I thought I was SOL. Being the impatient person I am I just bit the bullet and spent all cash to upgrade again. Well, I was running around this evening and I received a request to chat from customer service. I was a little leery thinking it could be some hack so I started recording just to have back up if anything went wrong. They informed me that they were going to help me with my bank issue and said that since I had already maxed out my bank they would refund me the gold I spent on the first upgrade. They asked me to log out then come back in 3 minutes and it should be resolved. I followed instructions and when I logged back in, sure enough they added 43,000g that I spent.
I am usually pretty vocal about bad things in games so I think I need to be just as vocal then mistakes are corrected and service is handled well. Sure, it would have been nice to have it resolved sooner, but the fact that it was resolved at all makes me very happy. Cheers to Zenimax CS for following up and doing a good job in making me whole. I hope everyone else that was affected by this bank reset bug receives the same treatment and I hope it happens very soon.
