I am not sure of Gaiscioch's stance on privates servers (even if the game has journeyed to its end), so I understand if this post is removed.
I know that there are a lot of family members that played WAR and may enjoy this news:

Well, it seems legit, but you may want to proceed with caution.
It would depend on whether or not the assets still protected by copyrights. I believe that since EA lost their license due to expiration (as in they were just leasing it), so the issue would be with whether or not Games Workshop still owns an active copyright to the WAR:AoR IP.
Knowing Games Workshop, I would assume that they still own all rights and protections on the game and its assets.
Still.. i'd keep my eye on it for some fun...
