Greetings Everyone,
As many of you know over the past month we've been looking into the benefits / pitfalls of Discord over GameVox. We've noticed a significant drop in players using our Voice Comm over the past year and a lot of that can be attributed towards the bugs and inaccessibility of GameVox. Both have their pro's and both have their con's. What I'd like to hear from you guys is which you prefer and why.

Before anyone asks...
Why Not Teamspeak / Ventrilo / Mumble?
We will not be using these as they are solitary server based which is prone to DDOS and none of them hide your IP from malicious users which means they can target you directly. The security holes in these have been there for years. Our chosen voice communication client will be Cloud Based to prevent the possibility of DDOS attacking us. We are still quite heavily involved in PvP and trolls are common. We need to protect our people and our network as best as possible. In addition, while we can score a license for TS or Vent, that doesn't mean we have a server. We have to have a server to host it. This means one of our members would have to use their own internet access to host it which could result in their home network being compromised and attacked by malicious players. I have seen this happen countless times over the years and it's not pretty. We will NOT be going backwards in technology. The future is where things are going and our options now lay with one of the 2 above clients. I will not compromise the safety of our members.
