I was just wondering what everyone thought about the Thief Elite Skills. (im doing this from memory.)
First there is the Poison Toungue... I think it says it Imobilizes for 5 seconds. And while that is enough time for me to dispatch a foe, in both PVP and WvWvW, and PvE, i find that with the amount of movement that people do in both PvP and WvWvW, I have a hard time actually hitting someone with it. So it doesn't seem viable to use, only because I dont successfully use it all the time. Missing a power/skill is deadly in those environments.
Then there is the Dagger Storm... And it does lots of damage, but the damage is spread out. Its very easy to dodge and its very visible that its about to happen. I don't think it really catches anyone off guard. If the daggers you threw homed in on one target, it'd be a viable use in PvP or WvWvW, but then it'd be unbalanced, because of the damage it does. So, I don't use it.
Then we have the Theive's Guild. I have used this since lvl 30. I usually try to save it for those random veteran encounters, or even as an extra target/tank on the battle field, so I can get away. But, I also like how I can call out a target and they will attack that one target, thus, raising the DPS on the victim. It's good in PvP, not too great in WvWvW, but I like it.
I was just posting here to ask if maybe i'm missing something with the other elite skills. I don't really see why either of them are elite. I know alot of people pick thier character based on thier elite skill. But, I can't see which one would make people excited about the thief class. Just looking for other opinions...
