I have played warrior in WvW since launch and have tried all the meta builds.  I have never seen this build posted but am having great success and lots of fun with it.  Though I am a touch typist who used to be fast with a keyboard, several hand injuries and ageing joints prevent me from succeeding with "twitchy" builds.  I hope this build helps those of you who like to pick away at the enemy until the opportunity arrives when an opponent is low health and ready to be downed and stomped.  You may even surprise the unaware thief with your sustainable high DPS and ability to deliver a condi nightmare.

Characteristics of this build synopsis are:

1.  Aggressive offense in both zergs and small groups
2.  Viable for roaming & fighting snipers while running back to the group
3.  Good survivabillity
4.  DPS with swords is comparable to axe in power builds because condi damage ignores toughness
4.  Adaptable to circumstances by just swapping offhand weapon

My tactics:

ranged AOE on the move, searching for a target which is low on health, then swap to swords, pounce and KILL!!

Versatility:

swap sword-2 for Warhorn (Carrion of Strength) for added mobility when needed
swap sword-2 for Shield    (Carrion of Strength) when added defense & blocking is needed
traits.  last stand to cleansing ire if you are dying from conditions

Notes:
1,896 power + 1,584 condi damage = 3,480 points of Kill'Em
good toughness (for a DPS build) against direct damage
good vitality (for a DPS build) against spikes and condi damage
might stacking; should be able to maintain 3-6 stacks of might during combat, more once on swords.  Might is BOTH direct and condi damage

Tip:  make sure you have a nice looking outfit for when you're standing over the dead guys :-))

Have fun!

Hoelbrak runes are an odd choice. I would probably go with Krait or Undead if you want more condi.

I originally used Krait and then tried Undead runes, both with full rabid gear and sigils of earth and torment on weapons.  They are good choices for builds which spam longbow skills and run away when being attacked by conditions, but the DPS is significantly lower.

Actually, the Hoelbrak Runes are what makes this build go; their synergy in this build is remarkable.  They provide:

- Reduction of condi damage on self.  Along with the trait Dogged March and the food lemongrass poultry I am able to switch to swords, charge a player who is running near their zerg, kill them, then get back to our team.  I often have multiple stacks of various conditions on me as I return, but usually survive.

- This build succeeds because of the "high mobile damage" provided by combining direct damage (power) and condi damage.  Note:  I kill about 70% of the warriors I face, and I am lousy at combat.  When I was using krait and undead runes, I almost never beat other warriors.  I suspect that in the hands of a high-dexterity player, this build will shine.
In this build, longbow is used for AOE and weakening the enemy, but swords are your high-damage kill'em weapons.

- Might stacking along with sigils of strength.  Might provides increases to both direct and condi damage.  During a combat sequence with ranged attacks and sword spikes, I usually have 5-10 stacks of might (175 power + 175 condi damage).  I have tested this build against the meta greatsword/hammer and Berserker greatsword builds against the veteran giants in cursed shore.  I kill 50% faster than GS/Hammer and 20% faster than berserker GS with this build.

Important Note:  Root others with sword burst, but don't let the skill root you unless they are nearly dead.  Once you use it, hit another skill to cancel your root (they will stay rooted).

I'll give it a try in for a change of pace in spvp. I'm too addicted to the meta 00644 hammer build to make the switch for wvw.

I played this build in spvp for a few hours and its ok.  it can stand toe to toe and trade hits just fine but theres no pressure.  you will get rekt by control builds like engi or  mes.
