15 GW2 runs and only 2 Rift runs this week!

There are 15 GW2 runs posted for this week and only 2 for Rift. We need to get more runs during the week. I am willing to run a TD run or a Spe run each week if someone will show me how. MUG 

Keep in mind gw2s population is 2-3x more and they just released an expansion. Yes we need more rift events but we also need more people attending the events. Both eso and rift are suffering from a lack of attendees. Rift had lots of events on the calendar but most have been pulled because of lack of attendance. Nobody wants to lead an event nobody shows up for.

RIFT is becoming an increasingly hard sell to get people into our community as new players are not easy to find at this point and long time players are rooted in other guilds. 4.0 - 4.2 have not impressed the rift community and people have been quitting again. Heck even the long time rift discord manager called it quits. RIFT really needs something new that isnt more of the same to keep people interested. Theyve been heading the wrong direction since expansion launch and we are feeling the consequences of it. 

I have to agree. I started playing Rift just before the expansion as I was feeling a bit burned out on GW2. I really liked the mechanics of the game and the world seemed plenty big. There seems to be a lot of content but the power creep makes the old content meaningless from a challenge perspective. I don't have the time to invest in getting properly geared up so I feel like I can't do the new high-end content either. Apart from artifact collecting and playing Minions I just potter around doing the expansion story and trying to join Fog's weekly events. Now that PoF has launched I will probably play Rift even less, at least for a while. 

Ty for your perspectives. It is always great to see/understand other peoples views on Rift. The last run (Fogs) was one of the funnest I have been on. I still would like to run/lead a TD or start with SPE's with as many Guild members as show up the rest I would like to fill with friends/pugs. The only way we will ever get to TD mini's or IROTP is to do these. Varder has gratiously offered his time to helping me to learn to run/lead a run.
