Coming on the 15th, Life is Feudal's MMO will offer a new map with more features, and some PvP off areas where people can settle with private claims. How this is supposed to work is that nobody except YOU, GMs, and people you give permission are allowed on your private claim. There are minimum borders between, so people can move around.
What this means: If people want to have a little village in one of the safe areas, we can actually have one without anyone being able to attack people there. Of course, those who want to PvP can always venture out into other lands, or network with players that are known to us (I know a few who will be playing). How is the PvP in the world changed? Well, no longer does it benefit guilds to try to drive other groups away... instead it benefits guilds to have other groups settled in their owned provinces. Additionally, attacking people for the limited windows of vulnerability is now more risky, with people able to attack your own lands in turn and set you back. So those who settle the wilderness will have less reason to make enemies of everyone, or so it is hoped. There is a lot of new stuff in the update, so instead of trying to list it all, check https://lifeisfeudal.com/Guide-to-the-Second-Major-Update#Protectorate if you are interested.
