Overview:

This story will introduce you to 5 of the Tuatha Dé Danann. Dagda, Nuada, Lug, Ogham, and Danann herself. Through the course of the story you will retrieve each of these artifacts from each of 4 villians of the Mythological Cycle of Irish Mythology. You will face off with Balor The Evil Eye and his legion of Formorians, Sreng and the Fir Bolg, the sorcerer Mathgen and his legion of undead, and the power thirsty Tethra.

Each of these Tuatha Dé Danann, villains, and relics are part of the history of the Irish people. If you wish to research them you might find it quite interesting. The Lia Fáil for example is also known as the Stone of Destiny and for centuries it has cried out for the ruler of Ireland. It is said to posses a mystic power that can control people's loyalties. It has been sought after by hundreds of warlords over the centuries including Adolf Hitler.

Act IV: The Spear of Lug

You now stand as a proud Gaiscioch warrior of the Tuatha Dé Danann. In this final act of the Four Treasures of Éire you must travel to Dun Delgan and stop the Fomorian invasion and prevent the execution of the Fir Bolg king Eochaid. The fate of Éire lay in your hands.

Journey to Carragh dé Earsadh with a party of 2 or more and face off against the legions of the Fomorian in this final battle.

Nice stonehenge theme - I went there about 5 years ago, definitely an atmosphere at that place, shame about the visitor centre and the road close by.

I'm lovin' it already! Can't wait to join in the fun!

Awesome Fog! is it up on the Foundry? I'll run it as soon as I get a chance...why do I get the feeling there is beholder behind this...can't wait to unleash a torrent of arcane wrath upon it!

Unfortunately they don't let us use any boss mobs. I really wish we could. I have to reskin elites to look like boss mobs. You'll face of with Balor the Evil Eye though of the Fomorians, with Sreng of the Firbolg, and Mathgen the Magician of the Fomorians. The final assault on the Fomorian Stronghold involves a siege with over 300 enemies to slay but first you need to open supply lines to get the 200 Tuatha soldiers in place for the assault. The final Battle should take place over 2 maps with over 500 enemies to slay. Finishing off with an epic fight vs Balor the Evil Eye one of Celtic folklores most notorious villains.

This sounds EPIC! I can't wait! Thanks Fog, good to see you jumping right into creating content!

Well first 2 acts are published in beta 1 form. Got some things to tweek. In act 1 our favorite coffee queen makes a cameo :). Fun little side quest. Bit of a easter egg. Ill publish the campaign code soon as I get home. Or search for @foglhadha. Make sure you notice the fogl instead of fogh my pw account predates my curing dyslexia. When I created it years ago I didnt notice till it was too late :p

I'm gonna have to replay it now...I missed the easter egg, lol

Publishing new version of Act II. This one has a few "Extra" encounters if you decide to go above and beyond.

Act 1 needs a bit of work for it to draw people in. To get people to play the other Acts it needs to stand out. As it is, it's fairly straightforward with little story line involved which is basically "this is missing...go find it". The mob setup is basic, in that there are groups in your way to the castle door. After you get the initial quest direction the only other thing is the broken down cart. Not much story after that...there needs to be a stronger hook, something that grabs you and makes you want to do Act 2. Also there is very little sound or ambient noise on that map, can you change that? Not sure how that works but that map is deathly silent. That first run to Stonehenge is painful if you don't have a mount, not to mention the run back once you finish Act 1 (from the stonehenge to the exit). Is there a way to put an exit portal closer? I know you said you can't put bosses in foundries but a boss type mob is needed. If there was one in Act 1 I missed it and didn't even notice him...some dialogue or conversation to draw the player in would be great! Make us hate him, make us want him dead or make us curious about him to the point we wonder why these events are going on (deeper). Just my thoughts after running it. Thanks for making it!

Just got done with a second pass on act 2. Still have some things to tweek on act 1. All 4 parts were part of the same quest originally but some bugs in the foundry prevented me from using it. So I split them apart. Right now I am only making these available to our members to run through until I get the final round of polish. I plan to get all 4 done then run through polish on all of them. In all honesty they need to fix some foundry issues before I can really work magic. Right now theres some critical bugs and lack of functionality that prevents map makers from really shining.

Need some feedback on the revised Act II. I think I've got this one pretty close to done now. Added some additional side quests and a bit of guidance to add some "fun factor". The focus still on stealth / avoiding combat toward the end but I threw in some encounters that you can beat the snot out of people. :). That way you at least walk away with some goodies. Still wish there was a way to reward avoiding detection. I really really really want to some "Boss Creatures" or "Harder" creatures. ATM even my bosses die pretty easy because they are just "Hard". Act I is focused on introducing you to the story, the plot, and giving you an easy mission to get your feet wet. Act II the plot develops a bit. Act III you're going to see the larger the larger plan at work. Act IV is where it all comes to a head and you've gotta face off with the Fomorian's.

Oooo another foundry. I'll have to add this to my list!

If you have suggestions feel free to post them here but do realize this is still in an early stage of development and still have several more rounds of polish before it's ready to get submitted for public view.

I have just gotten started playing Neverwinter in the last 3-4 days, and only finding my way around this game, but I did take the time to find your foundry quests, and have done part one, which was a great into to the story line, and I plan to do the next parts very soon.

I've played through the first two soloable Acts, really enjoyed learning some guild-relevant lore inside another game (the ultimate easter egg!).

Great work, and thanks for sharing it with us.

Could use more plays of part 4

Played through this yesterday. Was a lot of fun. Really liked the 3rd act.

These foundry quests have disappeared from the foundry... :( 

I only tried the first one, since I didn't have a group for the harder ones.

Probably because I haven't logged in since the first major patch

The game was having issues the other night.  I noticed the first one is back.  I haven't checked the other 3 yet; I imagine they are fine too.

I relogged in yesterday ;)

I went through and updated all 4 parts to work post-patching. They should all be popping back up on the map rotation :)

Yay!  I love these quests. 

Now with some of the expansion content my first scenario is possible. So you might see another 4 part quest series pop up :). Have a bit of reworking things to do in the current set to fix some issues that popped up with the new content.

So I improved the Jexia side quest so that it sorta leads you there instead of having to walk back and forth to make her appear. I also noticed all 4 are now on the foundry lineup if you search for the campaign. :)
