I think that items using Unstable Catalyst could be handled as player provided materials only. Comments?
Don't really have a way to make it player provided mats. I'd have to build something to handle this case. It's also something that should be required for those new gold items that require dungeon drops.
These are some hardcore recipes. Not only do they require the Unstable Catalyst but some several CD items.
I'm not sure if some of the non-crafters realise that there is a CD on the some of the ingrediants for the recipes. And so many require several CD items.
Plus the rep, the cost, and all that goes into crafting in general.
For example the high-end dex recipe requires 5 CD items. I make all my CD items as soon as the CD time is up and keep a supply. There are only so many crafters that can make CD items and the other crafts. I've got Foraging, Butchering and Mining at 300 and focus on supplying those items for the other crafters. I do have Artificing and Apothacary at 300, but my major focus is on supplying the other crafters with CD items and I make what I can in other crafts that I have.

sorry what is CD?
CD=Cool down
Hi all,
Just wanted to let folks know I have the +33 Intelligence Seal recipe from Outfitter (Radiant Brilliance?).
I'm working on the CD's for the Steel-Stiched and the Radiant Witchweave, but I won't have the marks necessary for the Unstable Catalyst.
I'm happy to make as many as the guild needs, but I'll need assistance with the Unstable Catalysts and I'll work my CD's on the leather and witchweave daily.
Thanks all,
~Bloodshryke

Cool-down. Which is 20 hours between the time another item can be made. For example I can make one Steel-stitched leather every 20 hours. There are others as well with CD's. Kittara
CD materials are a non issue. We have 73 members actively crafting atm and plenty of materials to go around. Our family actually has a surplus of these materials. Average turn around time for these items is under 7 hours from the time they were posted. Lets not stress over things that are working perfectly fine. If people were waiting days or weeks to get them it would be another story. Now today I've changed the way that some materials are handled. There are some items that MUST be provided by the player such as: Scarn's Hide Unstable Catalyst Enflamed Soul Crystalized Soul Any item that gets dropped out of a dungeon or requires raiding will receive the Require Player Provided flag. In turn these items award 0 points to contribution or artisan bringing the cost of said items down to what they would be without the item. This puts the responsibility on the Raider not the crafter to acquire the item.
@Cathal, You know you can just request the CD's from the marketplace and not worry about it? Thats what I built the system for. Gathering & Assembly working together.
Blah well I've never intended to raid (aside from having to possibly 5-8 times for the saga quest in GSB - damn TRION and their stupid 2 heart quest item drop) so I won't likely be getting nearly enough GMoA for even one doggone seal let alone one for each toon! :(
@astraiel It'd take doing 25 experts to get the 50 GMoA, so a month of doing one expert a day and you'd have your marks to get one seal. If each char does one a day, then you'll have one on each char. the only issue would be the others that drop out of raids. although it seems they drop out of dungeons for now? Those you could get through experts or masters as well. Just takes more time to do, which was exactly the way Trion intended - so that people that don't raid CAN get equivalent gear for the most part but with more time waiting/invested.
