So I'm a newly minted lvl 50, and I wanted to know the conventional paths to getting Hit and Toughness gear. I had a 50 cleric (who I needed to guild from the Defiant side one of these days) and had some people give me some gear to run experts. I don't want handouts, but I do want to know how Trion envisioned people to get this gear, because otherwise not many people would be doing experts and such.
Also, on experts, do you have to do the standard versions first?
Well to be perfectly honest with you, I'd just have fun until the expansion comes out lol. Whatever gear you get now will only be useful until the expansion comes out anyways. I'd worry about your end game gear when you get to level 60.
Check the faction merchants and the planar vendors in the upper level zones. IPP,SS,Stillmoor and EI. The guild marketplace, the guild bank and the AH will also all have gear available. I hope that answers your question. No you do not have to do the reg. to do the experts. Also to give some advice, the level cap will raise to 60 in about 2 weeks, so I would advise not to go to overboard using up any resources you may have to acquire gear, unless you think said resources will not be useful in SL.
Hmm, good point, but are the existing dungeons going to scale up?
Hi there, Start with normal random dungeons for drops and plaques, then random expert dungeons for drops and marks. Do Gilded Prophecy, Drowned Halls at that point as well. Then there's River of Souls, the Master Mode dungeons (Master Darkening Deeps and Master Cad. Rise) and of course Greenscale's Blight (GSB) and after that, Hammerknell and Infernal Dawn. I know I'm forgetting some but that's the general progression path. Do the expert raid rifts when you can as well for essences and drops.
don't forget the simple stuff IA's and ember isle(quests) and you can do 4 chronicles a day the solo and 3 with partner. each giving decent items and marks not as many compared to randoms but quicker and easier. I'm also looking to gear my warrior hit is 125 need tohgness
