First off I’d like to preface this by saying this is my first MMO guide ever. That said I hope I don’t cause to many deaths.

This is a rundown of my solo spec for adventuring and questing. I have been using this spec pretty much since SL launch. I have chosen to go with the Stormacaller 3rd soul because I do a lot of Onslaughts and find it’s AoE dps to be very substantial.

The key notes to this build are pretty much the same as Connors build found here.

Other Key Skills:

Vile Spores – For Eldritch Armor proc for single target fight.

Forked Lightning - – For Eldritch Armor proc for AoE.

Withering Vines – For pulling

Planar Shield - For when you have pulled a few to many

Buffs:

Lifegiving Veil – Helps keep you alive

Eldritch Armor – Proc buff. Similar to Warlock Opportunity

Reapers Blade or Lightning Blade – Reapers if you need more self heals. Lightning gives higher dps.

How to use:

AoE Pulls

Start by pulling your mobs with Withering Vines to start with the 25% Int bonus from Natural Awareness. Target closest mob and hit with Blazing Light for the 10 dodge bonus. If you have time you can hit more than one for more dps. Once mobs are close enough together for Phase Step to hit all of them start spamming your AoE macro. When Eldritch Armor procs, hit Forked Lightning. Continue spamming AoE macro and FL until mobs die. If you find your health dropping slowly you can hit Planar Shield if you have the charge for it. For emergencies you can hit Bloom, Planar Shield, then back to rotation.

Note – Be sure to keep Blazing Light on your focus target so that Lucent Slash can keep it refreshed for you.

Single Target

Open with Blazing Light and Withering Vines from range. Then start spamming Single Target Macro. When Eldritch Armor procs hit Vile Spores as it also does 100% of its damage over time thanks to Natures Corrosion. Use Tempest Winds Macro as much as possible (Except when mob is almost dead).

Other Notes:

If you find yourself running low on mana you can hit Introspection to regain a decent amount.

This is very similar to what I am using.I went 16 in chloro to get Natures Fury, which makes a big difference in surviviability for me. AT 60 Im going to respec back to 61 harb though to get the elemental spell. that just looks too neat. I've tried Archon and Pyro as my offspec, I think I will try Stormcaller though, any extra AOE would be nice.
