Say a few prayers and/or think positive thoughts for my stepmom, Barb. She's going to the hospital tomorrow for atrial fibrillation for more advanced testing. They may have to do cardioversion to get her heart back to a normal rhythm.

Will keep your stepmom in my thoughts tomorrow.
I will also keep your stepmom in my thoughts and prayers.
Sending healing thoughts your family's way.
Praying for your step-mom to pull through this easily and that the doctors are able to resolve things quickly.
Well, the verdict is that she either has some blockage or needs to have the cardioversion. So, she's on the schedule for a heart cath on Monday to see if she needs a stent, and if she doesn't, they'll do the cardioversion. The bad news is that she has to wait a few more days, but the good news is that it's not enough of an emergency where they have to do it _now_. We'll take the good with the bad. :) She's doing OK, just exhausted.
My thoughts will include you and yours; I hope all goes easily, well, and that recovery is full and fast.
Prayers for you, your family and step-mom. I know how scary it is. I went through a lot of heart problems/stents/pace maker/heart attacks with my dad. Hang in there :)
Hope everything is going well. Keeping your family in my prayers!
Thanks everyone! :)
Sorry to hear the news. Hopefully they can cardio vert with medications. I know how scary this process can be.
Well, the cardioversion didn't work on Monday, so they're trying some medications this week. They're going to try again tomorrow after doing the medications for several days. Thank you for the prayers and thoughts! I've told my dad about all the people praying for and thinking of her, and it is a great comfort to them and to me.
Praise: the cardioversion worked today! Woot!
