another one bites the dust

well my friends my warhammer account expires on thursday of next week and i really am considering not resubbing at all. i have put way to many hours into this game and i just can't stand what this game has become.Now i know people are all going to rift and honestly don't know if i really wanna waste my money on the game. i just do not get excited over this game not enough fluff as people say for me. i been playing it on and off for couple hours at day on defiant and gaurdian but pvp and the pve are still lack luster for me and i don't know why it is a great looking and well put together game. so for now i will stick to DDO and possible in a bit get rift. But i really wanna thank you all for the great memories we all have shared in warhammer i will never forget them.

am going to miss you clan clan .. hopefully after a short break youll get the itch to play and come join us in rift...

When I first started testing Rift (way back in October 2010) I too felt that something was missing. I didn't care about the NPCs in the game, they seemed to me to be like two demensional cut outs. And, if I didn't care about the NPCs, it was hard to care about MY characters. I'm a guy who likes the journey as well as the destination and I felt that Rift was ALL about end-game. The quests were uninspireing, etc. But, as I continued to test I came to see the game differently. In Rift, it only takes a couple of weeks to get to end-game, so THAT is where the devs have focused most of their efforts. If it takes 100 to 200 hours /played to reach max level, and I expect to play for 2 years or longer, 95% of my game time WILL be at max level. Rift offers MANY choices of leveling, quests are just one path, we can level thru PvP, both in Warfronts and in open world; dungon running, both normal and expert mode; Rifting and Invasion fighting; and Raiding. So, I stoped doing many quests (I still do a few solo while waiting for a warfront invite) and mostly level thru PvP and rifting. I used to see Rifts & Invasions as something disrupting my questing! Now, I see it as CORE GAME. Rift is all about Choices and I really love that. At least ONE of these choices will be right for YOU.

Ahh man, that sucks to see you go. :( Hopefully we'll see you in Rift at some point. And if not that then maybe we'll see you in Guild Wars 2?

Clan, sounds like GW2 might be a better buy for you. Shogun 2 total war comes out the same time as Rift so I'll be playing that instead and I will probably play with the guild a little bit in Rift, but I'm the most excited about GW2 and its possibilities.

Clan! Where are you playing DDO? I assume they have multiple servers? I've been meaning to try the game. Do stay in touch here on the forums. That way we can all get back together again after The Rift. Har Har. Stay Groovy

Clan, you make me want to roleplay a dwarf. Don't go far, and don't lose contact! Truly there are few greater assets to Warhammer, Gaiscioch, and roleplay community's everywhere. This is truly a sad day. Those clowns at Mythic/EA got a beatin comin from us... I say this holding my farting 1 month old baby, so u know its from the heart!
