Hi all,

I'm one of the new guys to the family. I have a 36 WL and 36 SW on the Badlands server. Haha, I don't feel like much help on the T4 nights as the high rr destro just hand me my arse, but I keep up a big grin as we all have to pay or dues. I'm still a lerker on our Vent as I'm trying to figure out who's voice goes with what toon and also how the command structure works with our Vent (when you can talk, when not to, etc..) I attended the T4 event on 1/11/11 and have to say the leadership was top notch. I joined the pick-up WB led by Blood somebody. Poor guy would give orders in Vent and also multiple times by text and this WB just wouldn't listen. Poor guy would be charging into BO's with 3 - 4 of us and just get rolled. I'll check my friends list tonight, but "Blood-somebody" deserves a lot of credit for calmly trying to herd this crazy band of cats all night. I'll retag this posting with his name when I get it tonight.

Other than that, great fun was had and just thought I'd drop a shout to give credit where credit was sorely due,

That would be Bloodburner known locally as Redneck. He was wb4 leader and I'm happy to have him back in war. The new system is gonna take a wee bit more perseverance than the old one. Your gonna get rolled and we all need to be ok with it. People who can't stand getting beat are gonna exit stage left quick. Be happy if you survive the engagement. Right now progressing the field requires the use of weakened forces and makes us prone to lopsided fights. We just need to mend our wounds and try again. Hold strong the resiliant will prevale.

Well it could have been worse, there could have been nobody to herd. lol. The biggest thing I came away with from our T4 night was the sheer numbers we had. I mean from our Alliance and from the PUG also. It's been a long time since I've seen that many Order together following directions. Well somewhat following directions. Still, I think it's very encouraging and big step in the right direction. And you're right Vip, it takes superhuman patience for our WB leaders to get the mindless zerg to move around. Kudos to all the WB leaders!

Glad to have you with us, and hang in there! If half of a pug WB is following instructions, it's usually a success. Just do your best to be one of the "blue dots" on the map thats following instructions and moving together. Even folk who don't hear/read instructions, will often see a bunch of "dots" moving, and will try to keep up so they don't miss something (of course, the problem is sometimes they take off together when the instructions are to "HOLD")... heh heh... When I first started listening in on Vent, I was lost on all of the voices too. I would often ask my WB leader to say something in chat - so I could identify them. Hope to see you in Tier 3 tonight :)

Late evening at work for me, but I'll be there for at least the last half of the event. Probably bring the SW as that toon hasn't had any workout in the last week or so. See everyone there, :-)
