So...

...I fired up the 14 day free trial of Warhammer Online and figured I'd make a surprise visit with the family. Well it seems my characters are stuck limbo on the Phoenix Throne server. Poor things are wallowing in cryo-freeze! Unfortunately, when I try and transfer any of them, Badlands is not an option.

I suppose I could contact customer support and tell them my tale, but if they're a typical MMO customer support center, I'll simply be told "sorry, we cannot help you". Heh. So it looks like I'm outta luck!

I'm very much considering checking out Rifts of Telara when it launches so mayhap I'll catch up with you all there!

I decided to give it a try anyway and called EA customer support. Exactly as expected, they're unwilling to transfer even one of my characters to Badlands. I can make a new character there but no transfers. Wow, that makes sense! I even explained, in a non-threatening way, that this is a make or break deal for me renewing my account. Not due to spite, but simply due to the fact that I'm really not interested in starting a new character or starting over on another server without my guild. Still no dice. I guess they're not hurting for business!
