The only character I have that could be considered raid ready is my paladin tank. I have Ashbringer, but it has absolutely no power put into it. I don't have the Silver Hand at the moment.
I would like to bring him, but as of this moment in time, I am not even sure if I could make the times. I am sure if I tell my manager I would need Tuesdays off, she would have no problem.
Oh, and I can't stress how true that statement you made was: "1. Bring the same character each week. The team needs consistency and nothing kills a raid group faster than folks wanting to change characters/roles every week. It's like a big car getting stuck in the mud." This is absolutely true. *story time* Back in Cataclysm, when tier 11 was current content, I was in a guild (my paladin's former guild) that decided to raid every Wednesday night for about 3-4 hours. We did 10-man Blackwing Descent darn near exclusively (I don't think I stepped foot into Cho'gall's raid until Firelands was released and they nerfed it). We were stuck on Magmaw forever, finally got him down and moved to the Robots (which we were stuck on and then beat). We never defeated a 3rd boss before the nerf. Why? It wasn't because we were bad, it was the consistency. Out of the 10 spots, only 3 were consistant: Me, my sister on her enhancement shaman, and her husband on his resto druid. 1 person switched between a druid, mage, and I think 1 other class. The other 6 slots were filled by about 9 different people (different each week). Sometimes my sister would have to heal. It was a mess.
I may have to add AP to Ashbringer...
