Drakelowe Maddness

By: Doreth

great fun yesterday, thank you everyone who came out.. our evening started with a rough attempt on kingcrest, as we fought very hard in the keep trying to organise targets and siege things started to come together, sadly with what seemed like NPCs that just weren't dying and well DC showing up, our first attempt of the night turned ugly as DC over ran us with large numbers, the night seem to get a bit bleak as they followed us from resource to resource not giving us any ground...

and then well, bit of craziness must have gotten to me, lets hit 2 keep at once.. as we fought our way passed them at our gate the bulk of our force moved south towards drake low, and 4 brave fighters moved towards kingcrest.... plan was simple bring down both keeps walls to 50%, tag kingcrest to get there attention follow with drakelow fast and hard before they have time to run out to us.... things were going along perfect and then well a pug came into play and hit drakelowe once to many.... as we feared a rush of DC players we put in extra effort to bring the outer wall down... at this point DC are starting to roll in and the survival gear kicks in... we pushed in a corner tower to take up a defensible position and the fun begin ( have to say this was one of the best fight I've had in AvA in a long time) outnumbered and truly out lvled by the DC enemy our forces stood toe to toe with them for almost an hour in that tower.. orders were flying as they pushed over and over only to fall to our iron will to stand in that tower and get that inner postern down... sadly after a long and hard battle even though we brought the door down DC and the keep NPC's and our shortage in siege weapon DC manage to push us out of the keep... at that point they now had the open field of battle were there numbers came into play....

had an awesome time last night everyone, thanx again for coming out
