Céad Míle Fáilte
(One Hundred Thousand Welcomes)

Welcome traveler, I would like to welcome you to the humble home of the Gaiscíoch (Pronounced: Gosh-Kia) Family and Tuatha Social Gaming Community. Our family began as a social gaming community in the industry pioneering MMORPG Dark Age of Camelot. We began on the Nimue server on November 11th, 2001, with a focus on creating a fun and enjoyable community for players of all ages and skill levels.

The Gaiscíoch takes it's name from the Irish legends found within the "Cét-chath Maige Tuired", "Lebor Gabála Érenn", and "Cath Maige Tuired" which chronicles the first people of Ireland the Tuatha de Danann. Specifically the First Battle of Moyturna where the Tuatha de Danann hand picked the most honorable and loyal warriors to fight along side the Celtic gods in a battle against the Fir Bolg. These Warriors were known as the Gaiscíoch.

With our roots firmly attached in the Celtic Mythological Cycle, the Gaiscíoch hold honor, respect, integrity, and fellowship, over hierarchy and dictatorship. Today the Gaiscíoch family spans many games, sports, and social circles.

We are a social casual gaming community with a relaxed approach toward gaming. We allow our members to play how they want, when they want, as long as they want and do not constrict them with quotas or requirements. It is through gaming, athletic competition, and social interaction that we forge new friendships and relationships.

I've ran with prissy now on quite a few of her zone clearing runs, but last night, and last Sunday for that matter, was really a good one. Despite most of us having to reload UI several times we clocked a good run and the loot was really good too. Can't wait for next Sunday. These events are really nice to have and I would encourage everyone that can to come on out. Even if you have cleared all the zones ( I myself have cleared all the zones I've participated in during these events. ) it's a good time.

We where a small group and a few other pugs running around totaling 6 maybe 7. As usual DH and GoM where working together. DH was tapping the towers and keeps while GoM tried to take Garri and then Hills. They had more then we did of course but we managed to hold them off with precision and speed. Upgrading Hills was the objective to get the waypoint and we succeeded. Through all the chaos we had to even split up since it was just a few of us watching the keeps to see actually where they where. Of course they had many but as I like to say and have always said...

Gaiscioch took on the Emperor of the Aldmeri Dominion. The battle for the emperor's last keep was mighty, from the start we had the gods against us dealing a blinding fog of war which let the enemy take out our siege weapons. Nevertheless we pushed on, the stones began to fall and the ground shook as we breached the walls. The Aldmeri Dominion emperor had no choice but to fight and he did well, and he had only one downfall, but one fatal downfall which was that he did not know his enemy, the Gaiscioch.

Great night in SoR defense against large Gates of Madness and Dark Haven forces. Great fights all night, but with a loss of our tier 3 tower at Hills. SoR rallied together and reclaimed Hills with the great assistance of the "Fire" Mesmer the Avenger(sp) It was a good night, perhaps a night with less singing in it than there might have been, but a good night none the less. Thank You all for your support and I will see yop all next week for the next installment of Smitty's Sabers....

So, I finished the entirety of the story line. Now the level cap is set to VR14. Craglorn is basically the only thing besides AvA that I can do, and no one holds AvA events during normal, working American hours. Unless there are more Craglorn runs or more Vet AvA events, I don't see myself continuing in this guild, or the game for that matter. I'm also just about done with all the titled achievements (short of AvA) so there's not much left for me to accomplish, except for in Craglorn, and you can't go there alone...

If you need more space to hold items and can't get to a bank or don't have room left in your bank, there is a very handy alternative. You can send your items off with a click of a button.

1st. You will need to have the addon called Advanced Autoloot Revived

    Addon Link:

After installing the addon you'll want to go to the addon's settings and in the recipient field enter and the name of someone who wont mind you sending returnables to them...

So, in addition to working on the Monster Hunter achievement, I am also working on some of the Exploration achievements as well. Crime Pays, Give to the Poor, I like M'aiq, Lightbringer and the Undaunted achievement where you get all your fellow Undaunted a drink in each of the towns listed. With the exception of the drinking buddies, I'm finding it difficult to track down the rest of these. Crime Pays is a merchant that you Intimidate and extort money from because they were cheating people. Give to the Poor is some poor sap with a sad story that you give a few coins to (I found one who claimed to have 17 kids), Lightbringer is where you find a group, or a person, with a campfire they can't light, and I Like M'aiq...
