Aye, ESO forums are pretty quiet for the past 6 months. I will think of something to write beyond writing about my event schedule / event requests.
Sounds like a plan - let's do it! Make the forums great again!
Just one thought, perhaps the Discord chat has become a more convenient way of getting out information quickly, which may be what is draining away some activity from the forums?
Thing about the forums is that we mostly use them for big conversation and topics; after discord I noticed a bit less of activity in the forums because most conversations can be held over there either voice or text.
Or I'm terribly wrong and forums have never been more used than before.
Fog knows more :3
Been wondering about this since I all a sudden started to download ESO client again meaning to check out the new expansion. Hope still enough folks playing :D
Solo,
There is plenty of gsch playing ESO:). And depending how long ago you have last played, you might have quite a few surprises in the form of changes in game:).
Hit us up on Discord! And welcome aboard!
Forums are nice because people who miss the conversation can catch up. At one point our forums were moving so fast the most recent 25 posts were displayed and it still wouldn't cover a days activities. We have shrunk a bit over the years since rift but I always like to see some forum activity. Helps new members connect with others and get their foot in the door in some conversations.
I've re-installed ESO. Been a year or more since I last played. Have no idea what I'm doing.
Update 1: I have four lvl 10 characters; one of each class. Each one had their skill points reset. Inventory is full on each character.
Need to 'relearn' how to play/what to do.

The new 4vs4vs4 battlegrounds is what got me interested most. I sometimes casually log in to a few MMOs that has Mac clients using my wife's mac: ESO, GW2, FFXIV, WOW and decided that I still like ESO the best.
Finally broke down and ordered a 17 inch gaming laptop with pretty good spec, should get it next week, this is to replace my 10 years old PC. Been working pretty hard since beginning of this year, note to self, I deserve a reward to myself :O.
*cheer* WOW!!! 10 year old machine, upgrade is way overdue mister! I got a new rig 3 years ago now, also to upgrade a wooden computer and it felt soooooo good.
I hope you will thoroughly enjoy it :D
Hi Salithrin, for the wooden computer, did you make the case yourself? Sounds very fancy!
For my 10 years old computer, it was handling ESO just fine still in 2014. Then it got some virus/malware that I never get around to clean up, then became unplayable.
In retrospect I think the manifestation of virus/malware on my old PC was coincident with installation of Archeage and Trion's anti-cheat software, whatever that was called. If their anti-cheat software did caused my virus/malware problem then that's quite an irony.
After that I wasn't playing much of any games, except sometimes uses the shiny iMac in the house to quench some gaming thirst. I was even quite fond of slither.io at one point, it is like a bare-bone PvP MMO in some sense :).
Now I am leveling a baby Warden and relearning the game. Considering GW2 is releasing an expansion, not sure will everybody here jump on that for a month or two.
Wooden tower, stone screen and 2 hamsters on caffeine... :D
I was lvling up a Warden too a while ago, whenever it came out.... I did feel a bit lukewarm about it but was alright. Didn't hate the class but didn't love it either :P
I just looked up slither.io - it looks ridiculously fun :D
even though ESO releases new content every now and again there isn't really anything new to it. few new dungeon, more pve zone.... so not much to talk over. builds haven't really changed or not by much.... pvp is the same thing it was when it launched... untill they actually implement something for us to write down in here you wont have much in the forums.. everything has been said and we aren't really doing anything new
To me things are interesting though. I only have a champion level 10 Dragon Knight that I parked since 2015. Now playing a low level new char, going through the quests slowly, seems like a good place to be for super casuals :).
A lot of things are quite nice now, you can go anywhere now, craft bag when you sub, that's great.
oh dont get me wrong i still play everyday. game has alot to offer and yes they have implemented things like craft bags and open zones that is really nice.... ESO still has a lot to offer for new players and old players alike
