This is a special for the sweet tooth junkies trying to reduce snacks from daily consuming.
Items you will need for this
1) Baking Pan/Sheet ( big enough and tall enough to place BBQ to cover the Ribs Half way Height wise. )
2) What ever method you use to cook rice.
3) Maple Syrup
4) Honey of your choice. ( Orange Blossom I choose. )
5) White Rice.
6) Ribs of your choice. ( Pork Ribs I choose. )
7) BBQ of your choice. ( I use several kinds in my recipe. )
8) Timer incase you forget its in the oven baking :P
Cooking steps.
Rib Section
-Ribs are placed in the baking pan/sheet with just enough maple syrup to cover both sides of the ribs.
-Place enough BBQ in the baking pan/sheet to cover ribs half way height wise.
-Let your BBQ ribs in the baking pan/sheet sit in the fridge for min. of 2hrs ( up to 1 day sit time for best effect )
- Oven 350*F Cooking time 1 hour till cooked thur and Ribs fall off bone.
Rice Section
-Rice is cooked until soft.
-Mix a 1/2 cup of water to 4 teaspoons of Honey.
- Warm the Honey/water mixture up and cover rice complete stir very well or wont get full taste from the rice.
Plating Section
- Place chosen amount of Rice to place on plate. Spread rice out and flat as a bed for the ribs.
- Place chosen amount of ribs to place on top of the bed of rice.
- The BBQ/Maple Syrup in the baking pan/sheet can be used as well to cover the ribs after plating for that extra taste if want.
