Korzak's Band is on the iTunes!

Hey people, some of you may know that I play guitar in a band. We're The Biggest Car in the County and we play a mix of county-rock originals as well as some classic covers. We've had a new album 'Ain't No City', for awhile, and we finally got it up on iTunes, cause there've been a few requests for it. It's our first attempt at an album, but I think it's a pretty solid representation of what we are going for, as well as being pretty well polished for a fist-full of rednecks. For those of you that purchase it, be assured that myself and the other members of The BCC really appreciate your support, and we hope you enjoy it.

Excellent News Korzak! I'll buy me some music. If we only had a gaming podcast we could use it as intro & exit music...

@Craythur: Ha. I had brain fart one time and wanted to suggest to Ben that we should have a monthly podcast. That podcast will feature interviews of guild members and our recorded vent chats during our Trinity. @Korzak: No, man. I'm not going to say anything harsh because I like your music. It's new to me. Plus, I'm not familiar with that genre to review it properly. The only band I've heard that's closest to your music is probably Drive-By Truckers. Anyways, are you the guy with the SG?

CRAYTHUR! Great to hear from you, and good to see that you still check these forums at least semi-regularly. And thanks in advance for picking up our music. I think what our lead guy is going for is a Drive-By Truckers-ish sound to be honest. I know they're a big influence for him and one or two of the other members of the band. The interesting thing is that Jason Isbell (ex-DBT member, now solo-touring) is supposedly coming through the area, and if he books a show here, we're (also supposedly) slated to open for him, which could be pretty big for us. Yes, I'm the guy with the SG rip-off. Also, where can I find your blog? Is it the one on the site here?

I'm still around, checking the forums fairly regularly. I need to hop on vent again and hang out with folks. I'm sure the Tuatha's interests and mine will line up again later this year. :) Bought the album on Itunes yesterday. Fun stuff!

Are you still playing LOTRO? I logged in there the other day for a few minutes, and didn't see anyone around. I had to pay my house upkeep, and was kinda hoping I'd see you or some other friends online, but I didn't. Oh well. Thanks again for the purchase, we appreciate it.

I've not logged in to Lotro other than to pay my house upkeep. I didn't see anyone around either. In game mail I had sent various folks had bounced back. I reckon we're all caught up in real life. :)

Hey, Korzak. I was finally able to write something about your band and album today. It's nothing big, a small spot on my small blog. It's just a list of albums I bought for this month of January (you can read it here). I doubt it, since my readership is only Giamo, but I hope it can provide even a minuscule of net exposure to you guys. By the way, I like the album and it's continuously growing on me. I love the song "The Corporal's Brother". I love everything about it. Good job on that one. But don't kill me on what I wrote there. I'm just being honest. And WOW, You're the dude with the SG. I was like: "Hmmm...bearded axeman. Must be Korzak". I was right.

Is "The Corporal's Brother" not just the most moving song on the whole album? It was written for a good friend of ours, as a memorial to his younger brother who died in Iraq. Our frontman, Josh, wrote it one evening after the funeral and when the band got together a couple years later, it was as perfect a fit for us as anything. This song gets more positive reviews from new crowds than anything else we play, as I think people in every little town around the county have lost or know someone who has lost a loved one to the war in the past few years. Also, thank you for the good review. I mean, B- might not look so good on paper, and the other guys might get their panties in a wad, but every time I listen to the album I find something new that I want to change. I suppose that's just the way of things though.
