UPDATED: Family Structure - Contribution Change

As Contribution Points are a heck of a lot easier to earn in RIFT as they were in WAR and I have several new ways in development to earn them I've upped the requirement for contribution for each rank progression.

Saighdear: 500 Contribution
Gaisgeach: 1,000 Contribution

Advanced Fellowship Ranks:
Seaimpin: 2,500 Contribution
Laoch: 5,000 Contribtuion

Elder Ranks:
Teagasgar: 10,000 Contribution
Draio: 25,000 Contribution

Contribution points are earned by crafting items, providing crafters with materials, or donating items to the family. This value is a measurement of how much you are willing to "Give" to the family. The Leadership ranks will still be Based on Tokens of Valor and not Contribution. Though to become a Teagasgar you will still need the 10K Contribution.

I agree for Bob, once he passes me in rank I'm sending him a medal.

He definitely goes above and beyond. I believe he should be the Grand Poobah of selflessness. ALL HAIL BOB!

On the user "home" page, the What's Next text still shows the old ranking requirements. For example, I see: You have 220 Contribution Points. You will need 280 More Contribution Points To Qualify For The Seaimpin Rank. This message must be hard (or at least separately) coded as the rank table above it is using the new requirement.

Ill check on it when I get back. Most likely is using the old method and not the new function I wrote.

errr... maybe I am missing something. I remeber in WH sending you items to donate to the family vault; can we do the same in Rift or is therre another way to donate. I'm talking about the Blue drops or greater. I really hate selling these things and would much rather donate to the family. I have asked in guild chat but don't often get any takers except for the Artifacts which seem to go like hotcakes at a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast.

They haven't implemented a Guild Vault yet so it's hard to store items that would be donated. Until they do, the whole ask people in guildchat thing is about the only way to do it unfortunately.
