Looks fantastic!!! I checked the Interesting Reaction checkbox, posted a comment and Followed you using your Followers widget (your posts will now show up in my Google Reader), but I email subscribed also in case I miss them in Reader. Excellent first post and may I say again the design of the blog is great. Very user-friendly and easy on the eyes. Nice job formatting the content in the post.
Oh great to hear. Thanks for the feedback. I was really worried with that BIG of a post that is was going to be cumbersome and not easy to read. Glad my formatting is pretty good for a beginner.
Oh I also used the share widget at the bottom of the post to tweet it to my Fairybella twitter account. Oh, when you say you are making a recruitment page, is that using the Blogger Pages feature?
I wasn't planning on using the blogger pages feature, but I'll definitely use that feature for something now that I know about it thanks to you.
Fairybella, I'm getting ready to post the recruitment article. It's almost finished-I just need to run a few things by Ben first. I've run into possibly a problem though. When I go to preview the youtube videos I've inserted, it displays as a square and I can't have it go full screen. I checked out one of your blog posts with a video; that video was a bit larger and could go to full screen. Wasn't sure how you did that or I can't yet just because I haven't actually posted this blog article yet. Any thoughts?
Yeah some content like videos and stuff you might have to hover over with a mouse don't work in the preview. They will work once you publish the post.
I found it quite informative as I haven't read The Art of War, only heard quotes from it here and there. I've mostly only done PvP in BGs/WFs with random groups, so I've rarely seen any real leadership take place. I'd be interested in seeing some of these ideas in action with GW2.
Now that you are set up, here is the next step: customize your feed/subscriptions Tread carefully with this stuff - if you want you can leave it all at default, although I do recommend activating Optimize>SmartFeed/Browser Friendly. You can even get a widget to show how many subscribers you have: Publicize>Feed Count. I received an email that had your first blog post in it. Was formatted exactly like in the original post, and had a linkback to the post, the blog, and a button to subscribe by rss. Just thought you might be curious what your email subscriptions were like.
