Anyone know what this is all about?
I hear its like a 6v6v6 tournament thing, not sure what its all about but I hear its f2p and competitive PvP.
Would anyone being interested in trying this out with me?

Yes their taking Scenarios, Arguably the WORST part of warhammer online, an making it into its own game. Smart move.

So, they finally add a third side to their PvP, but they make it a scenario. Yup sounds like Mythic to me.
Lulz, I heard that WoH was its own standalone game but I may be wrong. Either way, if its free, im giving it a shot. I <3 Warhammer ;'(
Only thing is Caem is that it's Bioware putting this crap...err version out, not Mythic. I think the rumors maybe true. EA is a disease. ...and Bioware has become infected.
well, on the bright side it is free and it doesn't look like you have to worry about leveling. On the downside, it's basically scenarios and pared-down models from WHO. From the looks of it, you get 4 skills at the bottom of the screen, and it is 6v6v6 so a single side won't (in theory) always faceroll the other. The interface looks dumbed down (makes sense - it's just scenarios), there's no leveling that I could see, and you can change classes in battle (probably after you die). In essence, it looks like the kind of game that EA Mythic should have put out to test and optimize their scenario tech before the game came out. I signed up, but honestly I don't hold out any hope. If anything, this crap has convinced me that SWTOR will undoubtedly suffer the EA curse.
Oh sorry if you guys got the wrong point of view but, I HIGHLY doubt this will be something you will dedicate hours a day to. To me this looks interesting, sorta like TF2 to me. Quirky little f2p game centered around competitive PvP and just messing around.
I liked scenerios and this sounds interesting. Something you can log in and play when you want to kill 30 minutes or so.
I hated scenarios but this looks like its pretty fun, no grind and just some fun PvP.
I really miss Warhammer... but not the scenarios. If I was going to go to a scenario only type game, I'd go back to playing FPS games.
Yeah I miss it too and I too hated scenarios haha Still giving it a shot... Warhammer was my favorite game if this is ANYTHING like it ill be happy. Hoping itll entertain me till gw2.
I'm coming back for a 14day trial on WAR because i miss it and Rift isn't filling the hole. I don't think I will play Wrath of Heroes though, I hated SC's in WAR and there are better games like HON, LOL or Bloodlines out there for arena/SC style pvp.
Would you mind posting a little post about the status of the game? Like if theres any action going on or population problems or anything? Depending on GW2 dates, I might go back to War for a month or two also.
This looks likes it's intended to be a League of Legends competitor. Not a bad idea for that old dog, really, but obviously it has nothing to do with RvR.
I played the WoH beta for about 4 games. To me it was more of a battle-ground domination system than a moba game. It was fun to play around with, but not something that I would play daily. One cool thing was that when you die in the game you can pick a new champion to play as when you respawn.
I see Skaven on their front page. I might have to check it out. Would of played more of the original if it had been 3 sided or more, preferably more . We are talking Warhammer after all, sometimes everyone seems to be fighting everyone else even in their own lore. Sounds like it could end up a decent "jump in and kill other players" game from some of the descriptions here. I certainly hope they allow some character customization though. Appearance gear, and different weapon sets would be fun.
Sorry for the late reply Shootin. I did the 14 day return trial but didn't last more than three days. I even tried rerolling a brand new class that I had always wanted to play. Tier 1 Lakes level cap is now 15 or something, but it's still dominated by the Froob twinks on the unlimited trial so Tier 1 PvP was pretty much one sided whenever the twinks were there. Altdorf seemed to still have a decent population hanging around which means people do still play, but Tier 2 and 3 were pretty much ghosted. It's a real shame because I still consider WAR to be more fun than Rift ever was. I'd much rather play Warhammer but without the people and without the support there's little point. EA is a plague for sure.
I've been back in WarHammer for the past month or so and having fun. Hooked up with a guild called Archons of Light. Big guild, lots of friendly and helpful folks. They're merging Gorfang into Badlands so we're about to see a b ig population increase which will be nice. And from what I understand they're putting the forts back into play!

Snowdogg remember me, I came back on for about a week and we kinda talked a little, but then I got so bored I just stopped. Putting forts and a merge together sounds interesting though, might give it another shot.

Yeah, I have a friend that still plays Warhammer. Heard about the merge more due to that fact we have a little website for warhammar story telling and a few people still use it. Think my friend does most of the writing HA. Anyway, he thinks Warhammer will probably have a bit of a burst feeling due to the merger and die off some time in 6 to 12 months. He tried to get me to come back because he has a more active guild again, but I told him I was not dealing with EA ever again for online anything!
Just wondering if anyone is still playing. The guild I joined about a month ago is slowly disbanding as the guild leader is too busy to keep up with it. However, he got a bunch of us into Dragons of Eternity with Dwooid :) I don't check in here all that often so if you wana hook up sometime, send an in-game email to Hacklebarney.... my new Witch Hunter :)

Wish they did that earlier, but I feel like there's no reason to come back to the game now. So how is it Snow? Still fun with decent number of players moving around the lakes?

Well today is patch day. Upon logging in i read this in /t4 chat: "ALL TO FELL'S LANDING. MIDDLE DOOR AT 80%" Been a long time since I've seen a fort being called out as a target. So that's where I am right now along with the rest of Order. Feels good :)
