Important Draighean Shochai SWTOR members

First I would like to thank Fog again for all the patience in putting up with me. I promise this will be the last SWTOR intrusion with launch just around the corner I wanted to make sure everyone that signed up for guild was aware of the change.

I do not have everyones email addresses unfortunately so I had to intrude one more time. I bow and apologize once again Fog.

The official SWTOR Draighean Shochai guiild site has been updated.the new site is located at http://draigheanshochai.guildlaunch.com/. the old site will remain up but with very limited functionality.

You will need to create a guildlaunch account to access the new website.

I enabled the launch code feature so you guys do not have to go fill out the application to become a member. Just attempt to become a member of guild and enter the code when prompted.

I know it was discussed awhile ago about the need for a main website and we decided at the time it was not necessary . But alot has changed from that day. The SWTOR guild launch program is in its last stage in which they took most of the functionality of the that site away. I felt our guild deserves better so I purchased a site from guildlaunch.com. Please make sure you stop by and register all you should have to do is put that code in and you will be auto invited. If anyone has any problems please email me at darkgothic30@yahoo.com.

They took the cool stuff away from WAR and DAOC as well. The problem is they're connecting their external servers with their game servers which provides a bridge for hack attacks. If they would just use the script I sent them a few years back it would export the data from the game servers into flat xml files which would be mirrored one way to the web servers which would then be read and populate the web site. This way the exchange is a 1 way communication and there is no bridge. But nope. EA doesn't take "Armchair Quarterbacks". This is one of the main things that drove me away. The solution is right there but they would rather not because their developers didn't come up with the solution.

I and at least one of my sisters have pre ordered the collector's edition. It was our intention to play on the darker side, so would be interested in making contact.

I don't know if my application has been accepted yet (website is down), but I hope to join up with you guys. I preordered the CE and put in my code the day they opened up preorders, so I should be in on the 15th or 16th.

Mythgar you were accepted on the old site so you just have to go to the new site and enter the code if you need that code email me at darkgothic30@yahoo.com and ill give it to you. No need for you to make another app on the new site. Otherwise just apply afgain if have not and Ill get you in that way for sure. Asesina all family members are welcome to join Draighean Shochai. Its the main reason I made the guild was for a place for us family who are playing it to stick together. Please just go to the website linked at top of this post and put in a application. I check it daily and will get you promoted to member. Same with your sister. If you have done that already please disreguard this post. Fog yeah it was really a suprise and quite depressing also get this little tidbit I found also. Here is a quote in faq .After the game releases, we will allow adequate time for guilds to save any important information from their public and private forums they wish to capture off the website, and approximately 2 weeks after the official release of the game (Dec 20, 2011), the Guild Headquarters will be removed from the web. So I am glad I made the other site.

Very nice job on the site...looks awsome. glad to be a part of the "extended" family on ToR as well. Good news for Burd!!! hes in the Beta for the test weekend. Looks like many many Monster Energy drinks and limited sleep coming up for me. For those of you in beta already my ToR name is Faltec (thats my melee DPS name) Burd (thats my heal name) Proch (thats my caster dps name) Stixter (rogue type class) call me odd but yes i do set each type of toon up with thier own name in EVERY game i play back to EQ1...same pattern, different game...lol...OCD maybe...yes, just a tad :P Cant wait to see you all there!!!! * if i didnt stress it enough...GREAT work on the site...keep it up...im sure others feel the same way...I very much appreciate your work and effort!!
