2 quick things \o/

Hello everyone, Bokuunji here! Figured I'd make this post instead of attempting to log onto Rift.
I won't be on for the next couple of days, my hard drive is slowly dying. When I get paid on Wednesday, I'll be buying a new one. Currently backing up all my files and making a recovery disc so I can re-install Windows. It really sucks tromping around Rift and then having my computer skip/glitch out on me. ):

rawwwwwwr, my harddrive was totally toast. when I tried to make a boot disk, it kept hanging and finally bluescreened... so now it doesn't boot at all. had to buy a recovery disk for my new harddrive, that should be coming today. I lost so much data ): entire steam library, all of my music projects, a bunch of personal documents. I had those backed up on an external harddrive, but of course... that one doesn't work either (probably when it fell off my desk). gr8 week ;~;

This just keeps getting better. Got the recovery disks today, went to use them on the new hard drive... But of course, they don't work. Well, they "work" but when I reboot my computer, it says that "Windows is not setup for use on the computer's hardware." Great. So I try to ghost an image to my new harddrive from my old one. But that doesn't work because of lol bad sectors. Now I'm downloading linux lmao. Mint 12, specifically. Hopefully I can get Rift to work on Wine (if not... well I'll be back in a week or so whenever I buy a new windows disk).

So I'm bumping this for an update on the tournament I'm in. I made it to the final round, and it's me against two other players. I could be getting first/second/third out of the other 61 players that have signed up and were eliminated. Fortunately, I got probably one of the best scores I've ever gotten on video. If this doesn't get me 1st place, I will be very surprised. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PCy94aeS4E Video contains some naughty language (!!!), specifically at the end since I was NOT expecting a score this good. I also do kinda bad in the last 30 seconds of the song because I was nervous and was literally sweating. If I do win first place, I get a ton of prizes. Most notable of the prizes: One of the new t-shirts that someone designed for the website and a free LP from a new label, based around electronic artists from the website. I also get a bunch of other cool stuff, like in-game credits, a first place medal on my profile, and 3 more songs to play in the game. Gah, this would be crazy if I took first.
